Title: School of the Imaginary Fanfiction Recommendation: +12 Characters: Soraya Hyuuga/Nakagawa Saku Nakagawa Kenta Tsuchiya/Infenyte/Kaito Higura Aaron Whites/Koruam/Koruam the Great Amy Sorel/May Norton Alyssa Hamilton/Yume/Aishe Nate Watson/Koruam/Norhoz Ryoo Tsukamoto/Koruam/Ryudo Credits: Yume ~ thanks for letting me use Aishe in my story and of cousre from the RPG that helped me do this. Koruam ~ thanks for the characters [Koruam,Norhoz,Ryudo] and for the story Chronicles of Eesgo, which helped me create this fanfiction. Infenyte ~ thanks for letting me use Kaito in my story and giving me a few EVIL ideas about the plot. And for waiting this story to come out. XD
My comments !NOTICE! Yes, I pulled three of REAL dudes in the story, Infy, Koruam and Yume. I don't remember which one of you said me something like 'It would be awesome to be my SotI character'. Of course, that will never come fully true. But with the help of imagination, you can even become a cow. O__o I wrote this because I wanted to imagine that even though the RPG is over, something will still happen after that. When I first started writing, I didn't know the RPG would end up like this. So I starter rewriting this a few days ago, and I'm happier now than back then. I would've loved to get some other interesting characters in the story like Drake Heros and Karakuri, but I needed a magical number of people. So sorry guys. ;___; And don't kill me, this is my second english fanfic, so prepare for typos! *dies*
Plot A few months have passed after Soraya woke up from her coma. The memories from Cresteia have been haunting her a lot lately, and she now regrets her choice of returning in her own world. ”What! NO!” Nightmare yelled. Amy pushed Hayate away from herself and the Akatsuki leader let go of her without hesitating. She ran towards Nightmare, keeping her eyes on the sword. “Give me my father’s soul back!” she shouted. She grabbed Soul Edge. It burned her hands, but she was able to pull it from Nightmare before he disappeared into another dimension. Amy threw the sword away and rubbed her hands. Hayate saw this as an adventage and ordered his men to move out and get the sword. But the Sorel was quicker. She grabbed the sword, and it immediately turned into Soul Calibur. Akatsuki backed down in front of this holy weapon, they were defeated and they ran away. The sword released the souls and soon, next to Amy, there were two ghosts standing. Soraya’s mother Alessa and Amy’s father Raphael. “Dad..!” Amy smiled and a tear of happiness rolled down her cheek. “I’m so sorry Amy”, Raphael said, “I couldn’t keep my promise… I’m so sorry.” Amy tried to hug him but since he was a ghost, it was impossible. She turned to face Alessa, who was a perfect copy of her daughter Soraya Hyuuga. That reminded Amy about Soraya’s situation, and she quickly turned around and ran to her friend who was still lying in a puddle of blood. “Soraya does not belong to this world”, Alessa spoke when Amy tried to make Soraya wake up, “I’m afraid that that is how things are. She will fall in a deep slumber, and wake up in her own world.” The Sorel looked at her friend. So she was a sleeper? That must have been why she had been so different all the time. Amy smiled a little. “I’m sorry”, Soraya opened her eyes, “I didn’t even know that myself… I don’t even remember where I truly am right now! But one thing I know for sure; I need to wake up now Amy. I’ve been sleeping there for two months already…” The ghosts disappeared into thin air, but this time Amy concetrated on her friend. “But.. But you can always come back here, right?” “I can’t decide about my dreams”, Soraya sighed, “No one is able to do that. Every night I appear into a different world, experience it, accomplish my tasks there and then leave it when the sun rises in my world.” She smiled weakly to her friend. “There are people on my world who are worried sick about me”, Soraya continued, “I have to go back.” Amy said that she would miss Soraya very much and think about her often with Gaara. In the same puddle of blood, there was a necklace with a broken glass heart. Soraya took it and handed it to Ryudo Sruïsuv, who was standing not far away from them. “This is.. just like my heart”, she said, “A little shattered and fragile. I give my heart to whoever I want. Take it, please, and always remember me, even though… We will never meet again.” And after this, everything went blurry and she blanked out.
Chapter 1 ~ Aaron
Soraya woke up. Suddenly opening her eyes and gasping the chilly air of her own room, covered of cold sweat. She held her head and rubbed her forehead. It had been the fifth time in that week, that she had seen the same nightmare of her departure from Cresteia. She couldn’t speak about her sleeper powers to anyone, which made her situation even worse. But the problem was, that she had not been able to enter any other worlds after Cresteia. Something was wrong. Soraya got up and looked around in her dusky and rather messy room. The floor was covered by notebooks, clothes, JUMP-magazines, socks of her twinbrother (which made her pissed off) and a few One Piece –manga volumes which she had read in no time last night. Her bed was in the middle of her room, and behind it, the small window which had grey curtains. Opposite to her bed, was her desk, full of school related stuff like old exam papers, pencils, other papers, books, notebooks and so on. She was better than an average high school students, so she really didn’t have any other choices but to study hard. She had to keep her reputation. On the walls, there were a few posters, most of them belonged to her twinbrother Saku, those that had perfect looking j-pop singers. She only had a few j-rocker posters, and a one poster that she had got from JUMP which was about ‘Welcome to the KHL’ [writer’s note: for those who don’t know, KHL is a +18 manga about a high school student who is afraid of people, a very disturbing manga, note name changed!]. Soraya walked to her drawer which had a japanese sliding door. She opened it and looked at her clothes. Black. Black. Black. Blood red. Black. Black. Grey. Black school uniform. And finally, more black. She hated colors. They annoyed her for some reason. Soraya chose the school unform, she didn’t really have a choice anyway. After dressing up in a black shirt, black mini skirt and black over-knee socks, she took her bag and walked out of her room, facing the burning light of the corridor. “Good morning Tokyo! Saku Nakagawa is going for his first date today, with the hot blondie transfer student Regina Wieners!” Soraya heard this sentence from the kitchen and walked there, turning off the radio that was playing an annoying love song with lots of bad words. Saku turned to look at her, while holding an apple and a cup of tea in his hands. “Hi sis! Did you sleep well? Saw any funny dreams?” “Nope”, Soraya lied and poured a cup of tea for herself, “Oh wait, I did saw a vision about your date, it’s going to be a blast.” Saku grinned, hugged her sister and thanked her from her blessing. “You should get a boy for yourself aswell”, Saku commented and sat down, “Guys love you at school.” “I know, but…” Soraya stopped her sentence in time. She couldn’t admit to herself that she was still loving a man that she could never see again. But Ryudo’s face was in her mind all the time, even in dreams.

“But I’m just not interested in boys right now”, she finished her sentence and smiled. Saku sighed and looked at her sister a little worried. Soraya knew he often wondered why she was acting so weirdly, and now even more weirdly after she had woke up from her coma. Yes. That coma, that had lasted for two months. First she had not remembered why she had fell into a coma, but later on she was told that she had been in a car accident with a young man called Kaoru Kurosawa. She was shocked. Kaoru, a usual japanese high school student who was ready to take risks and go out with any girl, had been Soraya’s classmate. It had been late in the evening and Saku had forgot to pick Soraya up from Shibuya where she usually spent her afternoons, playing arcade games with her friends. Since she knew the Yamanote line wasn’t far away, she had decided to walk to the station. That’s when Kaoru drove next to her and asked if she needed a ride home. Soraya knew him, so she agreed and hopped in his car. But it was already dark, and Kaoru was drunk because of a birthday party of his friend. Soraya was acting strangely, rubbing her arms and her forehead, she felt that something would soon happen to her. That’s when Kaoru completely lost control of the car wheel and the car smashed against another one. Kaoru died immediately. Soraya, who was sitting in the backseat of the car, hit her head against Kaoru’s seat and fell unconscious. The strange thing was that the car was completely destroyed, except Soraya’s seat and her window. Once she was taken to the hospital along with Kaoru’s body, she slipped into a coma state. And everyone was worried. Weeks went by, but she just didn’t wake up. People started to lose hope, but not Saku, not her twinbrother. And his waiting was rewarded. 1st september 2007, after sleeping two months, Soraya finally woke up. Even after the dream, even after leaving Cresteia, a part of Soraya of the Hyuuga still remained deep in herself. When she got mad, she yelled more than she usually did. She was more sarcastic, more self-confident and sader. Saku didn’t know she was sad, Soraya had tendency to hide her sadness. “Hey sis, you better get going”, Saku shouted and got up, “You start at 9 o’clock, but I have to go for 10 o’clock. So, see you tonight after my date!” Her twinbrother ran upstairs into his room. Soraya didn’t have time to say anything, so she took her schoolbag and walked outside. It was the perfect weather. Not too warm, neither too cold. Like usually at 7:30, the streets were literally an ocean of people. There were schoolgirls and boy in their unforms, business men in their black costumes, secretary women in their grey miniskirts and so on. She was just another busy student amongst others, who were walking towards Yamanote-line metro, which was, like always, full. Soraya hurried inside at the last second and sighed while leaning against the door. She missed Cresteia, but tried not to think about it. When she had left, she didn’t have any choice. But now, she felt so alone, like no one in Tokyo, in Japan, in Asia, in the whole world would understand her. Soraya had met great friends in Cresteia. They were better than the people in Japan, honestly. Everyday on earth was the same; go to school, study hard, don’t let your family down, come back from school, hang with your friends, go home, eat, watch lame japanese dramaseries, do your homework, sleep. Nothing ever happened in Tokyo. Cresteia had been different. Everyday was a new adventure, people weren’t like in Tokyo; easy to read like books. She hoped for a challenge, but it was a futile wish. The past weeks she had not seen any dreams of other worlds and her insticts had not warned her about anything. Maybe she was doomed to live in this lame and rotten world forever, doing nothing. The metro stopped and she got off at Shinagawa’s station. Soraya soon forgot all about her angsty thoughts and started walking towards Shinagawa’s high school. It was a white, big building with thousands of windows. The frontyard was full of students, some of them doing usual stupid stuff like burning their math books, climbing in to trees, throwing water balloons towards each other and picking on smaller ones. It had always been like that, and there was not a chance that things would change there. “Hey hey! Soraya-chaaaaaaan~!” She turned around quickly, recognising this rather annoying voice. A boy from her class, Kenta Tsuchiya ran to her. “Guess what? Today school finishes after 4 classes! Can you imagine?” “Yeah, I can”, Soraya said coldly, “Especially when I know that that’s what it’s like every Friday.” Kenta sighed and asked what Soraya had had for breakfast. When she said that she didn’t eat breakfast, Kenta said that he had thought that Soraya had eaten a lemon. “Very funny”, Soraya grunted, “No, really, I’m just on a bad mood. I didn’t sleep so well.” “Coffee would do miracles for you”, Kenta commented and they walked inside the building together, “Wanna go to the café at lunch break with me?” “Oh, it’s okay, you don’t ha...” “Coolness!” Kenta smiled and pat her shoulder, “So it’s decided, we’ll meet there then.” Kenta ran away to his class and left Soraya in the half empty corridor. She rolled her eyes. Maybe coffee would do good to her, besides, eating in the cafeteria was just like everyday, so boring and normal. Finally something different. Her first class was a double lesson of history, and in history, Soraya was into Rococo. But unfortunately, the book mentioned Rococo on one page, describing it with five sentences. Apparently it was nothing important, but it was the only one she actually liked. Roman history was the worst. “…and this, is a roman legionnair”, the teacher said. “Ew, why’s the guy wearing a skirt?” asked a snobby student from the backrow. The teacher didn’t answer to this question, he only gave a very bad look towards that girl. Soraya wasn’t even paying attention.

She just stared out of the window, hoping that the first lesson would end. And so it did. But the recess was way too short, and the second lesson begun way too fast. “Soraya, could you tell me the name of the three most popular roman emperors?” She looked at the teacher. Her blood was boiling. That guy was doing it in purpose, to ask from her. “Who cares about them”, she said. “Well, of course people care about them”, the teacher sighed, “They have important parts in the world’s history. For example, Nero is popular because he-“ “..did something fun with some funny dude because he wanted to have fun, the end”, Soraya grunted and stood up taking her bag. The teacher marked something in his notebook and looked at her. “And where do you think you’re going?” “To the nurse”, she said and walked to the door, “I think I have a disease called ‘I-hate-history’. That must be very familiar to you.” She opened the door, stepped outside and slammed the door behind her back. Soraya rubbed her head. Something had taken control of her in that class. Could it be her Hyuuga side? Because Soraya Hyuuga enjoyed more Eesgo’s history? She felt a little sick indeed, not because of history, but because of something else. Soraya decided to go and wait for Kenta to the closest café. It was a cosplay café actually, but people dressed normally came there aswell. Mostly because they wanted to get fancy photos. However, Soraya had cosplayed only once, and that had been Lulu from Final Fantasy –series. Why? Because people said she had something quite Lulu-ish inside her. Maybe they had a point there. She stepped inside the café and sat down. Kenta would soon finish his chemistry class and come aswell, but before that, she had to drink something. After ordering a milkshake, she started to look around her. And that’s when she almost dropped her glass. In the corner table, three young men were sitting and having a deep conversation. They all had old looking clothes, so they had to be cosplayers. One of them looked normal, brown wavy hair and usual cute face. The second one had black hair, very pale skin and he looked dead. The third one had blue hair and a silver armor with a blue scorpion on it. Soraya felt like her heart had stopped. That’s when Kenta entered the café and sat next to her. “Hiya! What ya looking at?” Soraya blinked her eyes a few times but those three men were still there. She got up and put her milkshake away. “Could you excuse me, for a second..” Kenta didn’t have time to answer, since Soraya rushed towards the three men. They all turned to look at her, a little surprised. She put on her sweetest smile and sat down. “Hi, I’m Soraya”, she said, “Can I ask you what you guys are cosplaying?” The three men looked at each other and didn’t seem to react to her name at all. “We’re cosplaying characaters from a game that my penpal made himself”, said the blue-haired who was obviously cosplaying Koruam, “Ever heard of Chronicles of Eesgo?” Soraya shook her head. But somehow that title reminded her of a certain black book from Cresteia, that was probably still there. “Your penpal…” Soraya started, “So he invented all the character by himself?” “Yup”, the Norhoz cosplayer answered, “Every one of them. He’s a genius.” She turned to look at the Ryudo cosplayer who nodded, apparently agreeing to everything that his friends said. “Where does your penpal live?” she asked. “In Holland”, the Koruam cosplayer answered, “His name is Aaron Whites.” Soraya looked at Kenta, who was more confused than ever. She tried to ignore him for now and concentrate on this information. “Can you.. can you give me his cellphone number?” “Uhm.. su-sure”, the Koruam cosplayer looked uncertain but wrote down a number on a small piece of paper, “But seriously girl, he’s not single if that’s what you wanna know.” Soraya grabbed to paper and looked at it carefully. “That’s not the point here”, she mumbled, “Thank you and bye.” She stood up, took her bag and ran out of the café before Kenta could catch her. Screw him, screw school, she thought, this Aaron Whites can be a hint to something! Soraya stopped at a calm street and took out her black cellphones with plastic skulls hanging from it. She copied the number from the paper, and pressed the call button. Her heart was beating and she felt like it would soon blow up inside her. She waited for 3 seconds, which were the longest 3 seconds of her whole life, and finally, someone answered. In dutch. Crap. “Uhm”, Soraya remember all those good scores she had got from english exams, “Is Aaron Whites there?” “Who is this?” She blushed. That’s when her inner Hyuuga took control of her. “I’m her ex-girlfriend and I’ve got a few words to say for him”, she spoke and covered her mouth after this sentence. There was a small silence, and soon someone shouted for Aaron. The cellphone was given to someone else. “Yeah, Aaron here.” “H-hi! I’m Soraya Nakagawa, a friend of your japanese penpal who cosplayed Koruam.” “Oh right! You must be his girlfriend!” “…No. Well, anyway, I really need to ask a few questions about the Chronicles of Eesgo.” “The book or the game?” “Both of them”, Soraya said and sat down on a bench, “Where did you get the idea of Koruam, Norhoz and Ryudo?”

There was a small silence. Aaron hesitated. “Well, it’s really hard to explain Soraya”, he said, “You wouldn’t believe me… I kinda saw a dream about it. In that dream my alter-ego, Koruam the Great, became me. It gave me ideas.” A sleeper, Soraya thought and her eyes were wider than usually, he’s my master.. He was in the same dream with me! No, that can’t be true. It’s just not possible! “Have you ever heard about Cresteia?” she asked, “Have you ever heard about Amy, Soraya Hyuuga or Chi Whiteheart? And Hayate?” She could imagine how Aaron would blink his eyes several times and look surprised. She could imagine how he would soon answer ‘yes’, and that would be the final clue she needed. “They do sound a little familiar…” “Great!” Soraya shouted, “Uhm, I mean, that’s funny. Aaron, can you call me tomorrow?” “…Okay..?” “Thanks! Byes!” She put her cellphone away and ran towards the Yamanote line. She knew she had still two hours of school, but Soraya didn’t care. This was her ultimate chance to finally do something different. Soraya sat down in the metro and started thinking. If Koruam had been in her dreams for a certain time only, it proved that Aaron had woke up from the Cresteia dream before her. And if her calculations were correct, he had woke up one month before she had. A little before the 15 years that would pass. This also proved something else; if Aaron’s characters were invented by him, someone close to him had to be a sleeper aswell. Ryudo and Norhoz were sleepers aswell, she thought, why didn’t I notice that in Cresteia? She had to explain the situation to Aaron, and then find with his help the other sleepers. If they really were in that world, of course. The metro stopped and she ran outside and continued towards her own house. Sato would be with Regina the whole evening, so she was free to turn the house upside down if she really wanted. Soraya got inside, threw her bag on the couch and ran in her room. She opened her laptop that had been hidden under her bed and started searching for certain files and folders. After her little coma, she had obviously written down everything that she had experienced in Cresteia. And this proved that it had not been a futile work. The text helped her refresh her mind. After reading the 108 paged file two times, she believed that she could now start to investigate this Aaron Whites. He lived in Holland, in Europe. That was a bad thing, since Europe was practically on the other side of the planet for her. “If I’d be in Cresteia”, Soraya sighed, “I’d just create a gate or a door there…” “Really?” She jumped off from her chair and looked behind her. Soraya let out a scream and backed down to the wall. The most strangest creature ever was standing in front of her. A shinigami perhaps? This creature had black horns, a face that reminded Soraya of an ant and a body which was similar to a human’s body. The legs, arms and the creature’s back were all a bit longer then Soraya’s. And, the creature had a very bad bearing. “Hello”, the creature spoke with a rough voice, “I’m your shinigami, Ferago.” “That’s a… handsome name!” Soraya tried to smile, “For a shinigami.” “Enough the smalltalk, ‘kay? Let’s get this over with soon because I seriously hate mortal people.” Soraya nodded and sat down quietly. The shinigami took something out of his big mouth, and it looked like a scroll. “Alright, Soraya”, he said, “As you know, you are a sleeper, and when you sleep your alter-ego Soraya Hyuuga takes control of your body, mind and soul. Soraya Hyuuga is shortly your dreams, secrets, wishes and traumas tied into a imaginary scroll which can be found behind your left eye.” Soraya touched her left eye. “This is the same for each sleeper. The scroll has the magic words to release your alter-ego but also the words to seal it. Also, the scroll tells you the name of the worlds you will and have visited, and the name of the sleepers you will meet, aswell as their alter-egos.” Ferago handed the scroll he had taken from his mouth. Soraya took it and looked at it. There was no way to open that scroll, there wasn’t even a seal. “Anyway, I know you will ask ‘why me’” the shinigami sighed, “Let me tell you a story. A long time ago, there was an underground kingdom, which had a sealed chamber. It opened every once in a year, so that people could get their hands on the treasure that was inside. It was a red handmirror, which could grant anyone with unnatural power to travel between worlds. However, no one dared to touch this mirror, because its grip was rumoured to be poisoned. One day, a group of seven strangers entered the kingdom, and wanted to get this mirror. They were led by a blue-haired man, which you know very well. Once they got into the chamber, Koruam grabbed the mirror since he was immortal and was immune to the poison. But he was selfish, and didn’t want to share the powers of the mirror. So one of his comrades, Kaito Higura, took out his sword, and broke the mirror with one slice. It shattered into seven equal pieces, each one of them dashing into the strangers’ eyes. And so, each one of them had a piece of the mirror. They all became sleepers, they all were able to travel between worlds. One day they found this world, and decided to stay. But they were separated, because of the powers of the mirror, that made all of them selfish. Everyone of them wanted to use their powers for their own needs, not help each other to make the world better. Years have gone by now. Since they all look like mortal people, they have died, but then reborn in other bodies. Just like you. You are one of them, you were a loyal servant of Koruam. But lust turned you against him at the last moment. You wanted the mirror, just like everyone else did. But even now, you stand next to your master, and that is why your name used to be Loyalty.”

A small, helpful note for Elernia --> Posted: 12 september
Soraya was completely speechless. This story sounded amazing, she never thought that she would’ve been that special. But there were other sleepers in the world, and they had probably forgotten their meaning aswell as she had. She had to find them, because they were her friends. And she missed them very much. “The mirror piece is in your left eye, it has transformed into a scroll”, Ferago said, “It has the names of the other sleepers. Though, you don’t have to dig your eye out, just open that scroll I gave you.” “But… It doesn’t have seal or anything!” The shinigami grinned. “You mortals are so funny”, he said, “You trust your eyes too much. You think imagination is madness. But it isn’t.” Soraya looked at the shinigami for a while. What was he talking about? To imagine that the scroll had a seal after all? Well, she thought, I guess I don’t have any other choices here. She closed her eyes and imagined the scroll, with a seal that could be opened easily. When she opened her eyes, it was there. The seal had appeared on the scroll, Soraya couldn’t have missed it earlier, it was so big. “See?” Ferago laughed, “Imagination conquers this blurry reality of yours.” Soraya smiled a little and then opened the scroll. The first name on the sleeper list was Aaron “Immortal” Whites. The other names were blurry, and there were ink splatters on them. “There’s just one name..” “Exactly!” the shinigami shouted, “That is your mission, find out the other names, and you will know who is who. Immortal refers to Koruam, Loyalty refers to Soraya Hyuuga. Sometimes guessing is an option too.” Soraya looked at the scroll. Norhoz… What could he be? A certain thing in Norhoz that could be his sleeper name. “Knowledge?” she asked, “Could it be one of them?” “Very good my dear! Very good!” Norhoz’ name appeared on the list, just after Aaron Whites. Nate “Knowledge” Watson. Soraya smiled to this and closed the scroll. “Oh, one more thing little girl”, Ferago said, “This mission may sound easy to you, but it isn’t. There are those who we know as the intruders. They are evil people who come from other worlds. And they enjoy eating the hearts of little girls like you. So hurry. To help you, I’m giving you this wonderful magical object.” The shinigami handed a small and white piece of chalk to Soraya, who took it, looking at it curiously. “It’s just a piece of chalk..” “Yes, but, imagination wins this so called reality”, Ferago spoke, “You need a door, or a gate to get to Holland.” “Impossible. I need a airplane. There aren’t any doors to Holland!” Soraya shouted. The shinigami smirked and pointed at the chalk, then at the greyish wall behind Soraya. “Then you’ll just have to draw one, my dear.”
Chapter 2 ~ Nate
The very next day at exactly 10 AM, someone knocked Aaron Whites’ house’s door. He opened the door, wondering if it would be his friend who was suppose to come over to his place. But instead of that, a black haired, pale skinned japanese high school girl stood in front of him. “Hey!” Soraya said and examined the man in front of her. He did have Koruam’s face, but he had brown hair. And he had normal clothes, but so did she. At least in Japan a punk-style was rather normal, but I guess Aaron was a little shocked of her short skirt and doll-shoes. “Uhm.. do I know you?” he asked. “It’s me, Soraya”, she answered to him, “Can I come in?” And before the man could answer, Soraya stepped inside, carrying her white and black striped purse with her. “We have a lot to talk”, she said, “But first of all, I’d love to redo your hair.” “Wait.. What?” Soraya laughed and pushed him into a chair. She opened her purse and took two plastic bottles. “Now, do you want blue highlights or no highlights?” “No, no no! You are not going to dye my hair. What the heck are you doing here?” Aaron stood up. “Look, just relax! Sit down!” Soraya pushed Aaron once again on the chair, opened the first bottle and poured the white coloured paste on his head. Aaron let out a grunt but stayed calm anyway. “This thing will remove your current hair color and reveal your natural hair color”, Soraya explained. “Uhm, this IS my natural hair color.” The girl just grinned. He would be in shock when he would see his real hair color. Since the operation took some time, Soraya started to explain why she had come and why she was so interested in him. Aaron listened to her carefully, and luckily seemed to obtain every word and believed her. “A sleeper eh?” he sighed, “Yes, now that I think about it, I was in a coma for about one month. I was in a small accident, nothing serious luckily. And I do remember Soraya Hyuuga, so it was you.” Aaron took a mirror and looked at Soraya from it. “I still can’t believe you listened to Hayate’s words back then…” The girl hid herself behind Aaron and remembered the small incident back then. Sisay’s face flashed through her mind, aswell as Ryudo’s. “I just… didn’t know who to believe back then”, she answered, “It was tough for me you know!”

12 september again
Aaron rolled his eyes and put the mirror away. After a few hours, Aaron took a shower to wash the paste away from his hair. Soraya decided to look around a little bit and ended up in his room. Apparently his master was into manga, especially One Piece. This made her blush. Amazing that she actually followed the same manga and anime as her master. Then, there was an armor of a roman legionnair. Soraya grinned. Excellent, she hated roman history, and Aaron was probably really into it. That’s when Soraya heard a scream from the bathroom. She laughed quietly and waited for Aaron to dress himself and then entered the bathroom. “Wow! Coolness!” she shouted and applauded. Aaron’s hair were now blue. As blue as Koruam’s. And he did look just like Koruam. Soraya wanted to bow, but since the man was still acting like a normal 20 years old person, she thought it wasn’t necessary. “What… Did…” “Nothing!” Soraya smiled, “You’re Koruam, and that’s it.” Aaron turned to look at her, looking quite shocked about the situation. Like he would have just realised that it was all true. That he had been Soraya’s master, and that there were other sleepers in the world aswell. “Okay.. Okay..” he scratched his head, “This is really weird. What do we need to do then?” “Find the others and return to Cresteia”, Soraya said, “After I left, I felt like I wanted to go to an other world. Not Cresteia, but Ees..” Someone entered the house and she couldn’t finish her sentence. Aaron stepped out of the bathroom and understood that it was his sister. They talked. In dutch, so Soraya didn’t understand much. Apparently Aaron was explaining what she was doing in the house and why his hair was suddenly blue. His sister rolled her eyes and walked away, looking at her strangely. “Hey Aaron”, Soraya said, “We have to find Norhoz now. His real name is Nate Watson, and he’s Knowledge.” “Nate?” Aaron repeated, “I remember a guy called Nate Watson. Back then, when I was in high school, he was a transfer student from Chicago. Best of the class in history should I say.” Soraya sighed and looked at the armor in Aaron’s room. “You like history?” the man asked. “No”, Soraya said coldly, “I think it’s the most boring thing in the universe.” Aaron simply laughed at this.
Later in the afternoon they both decided to take a walk outside and discuss about what had happened in Cresteia. Soraya had never talked with Koruam like that. It was weird. She even started calling him by that name, he didn’t mind. It seemed like he had understood what he really was; an immortal conqueror. “So… You watch and read One Piece?” Soraya asked. “Yeah”, Koruam answered, “I missed Cresteia and Eesgo after I woke up, so I needed something else to think about.” Soraya nodded and looked down. She ended up thinking about Ryudo. If he really was a sleeper, then she could meet him again. But what if he had a girlfriend in real life? Real life, Soraya thought, Ferago said that there is no reality. Maybe he had a point there. “Are you as talented now as you were in the dream?” Koruam asked. “I don’t know. I doubt that.” She looked up and closed her, performing a seal with her hands. Just like in the dream. “Byakugan!” Soraya opened her eyes and looked disappointed. She sighed. “Nope, it doesn’t work.” Koruam nodded to this. Soraya wasn’t too surprised, in this world, she was just like everyone else, a normal person. Cresteia was different, there she could let her alter-ego control herself. But not in this world, who knows what Soraya Hyuuga would start doing there. Becoming the strongest warrior? “Have you ever heard about the intruders?” she asked from Koruam. “Yes”, he said, “I’ve met a few in my life. It’s hard to get rid of them, especially if your alter-ego happens to be a strong one. In your case, I’d say you have to avoid them.” “How do I recognise one?” He started explaining. Apparently people Soraya hated could easily be intruders, and the first person who came in her mind was her history teacher. Though he didn’t see like an evil person, she just happened to hate history and the teacher just happaned to hate her. “But hey”, Koruam started, “You are a high school student right? You have school in Monday? How are we going to find Nate before Monday?” Soraya showed the small piece of chalk to him. “Okay. It’s a piece of chalk.” “Yup.” “How is that going to help us?” “We’re gonna draw a door to Chicago.” “…You’ve gotta be kidding me.” The girl grinned and put the chalk back into her pocket. “Imagination conquers reality.” They walked back to Koruam’s house, and he said that he will be off for some time. His sister didn’t seem to be worried about this. Koruam took everything he needed, meaning not much. Soraya was a bit worried to have a 20 years old guy living in his house. Saku could notice that. But for now, she had other things to worry about, like how to find Nate from Chicago. Koruam closed his room’s door and Soraya took the piece of chalk from her pocket. She drew a small door, so his sister wouldn’t pay attention to it and the opened it. “See?” “Wow.” They went inside and closed the door behind them.

13 september:
The very next day Soraya woke up in a hotel room [writer’s note: in separate rooms, for those who even dare think about Koruam x Soraya] in Chicago, and rubbed her head. Yet again the same nightmare about her last farewells in Cresteia and still no dreams about other worlds. She decided to ask if Koruam had seen any dreams, but for some reason she doubted that. Soraya got up and dressed herself after a shower that lasted for nearly 3 hours. When she opened her door, Koruam was standing there. “What took you so long?” “I was in the shower, sorry.” “For three hours?” “Uhm, I’m a girl, I need to be pretty. I don’t do 15 minute showers like you men do.” After this she took her bag, and left the room, not listening for Koruam’s possible answer. In this world she could tease him as much as possible, since he wouldn’t torment her with all those magic spells and Gods. He seemed to read her mind. “I’ll get my revenge on you in Cresteia if you don’t watch that mouth”, Koruam said behind her. “Sure, you can try”, Soraya grinned and they stepped outside in the sunlight, “By the way… Did you see any dreams last night?” Koruam shook his head. “After the coma I haven’t seen dream at all.” Soraya sighed. This wasn’t a helpful clue, so she concentrated to Nate once again. Neither one of them didn’t know where they could possibly find Nate Watson. That’s when Soraya had and idea. She started walking towards the closest public phone that was attached to a greyish concrete wall. There was a small phonebook near it, and she opened it, while Koruam was wondering what his comrade was up to. She found Nate Watson soon enough and called the number next to this name. “Hello, Nate Watson speaking.” “Good morning!” Soraya said with a happy voice which made Koruam tremble since it was not like her, “My name is Soraya Nakagawa, and I would so like to meet you! My friend from Holland told me that you are a real genius in history.” “Gee, thanks”, Nate answered, “You mean Aaron Whites? Are you his new girlfriend?” Soraya sighed. Why did everyone always say stuff like that? Did this world have an obsession to this sentence? “No, I’m his japanese penpal’s FRIEND”, Soraya explained, “Can you meet me and Aaron in 20 minutes in the museum of… Roman history.” “Sure! That’s my speciality.” “Really?!” Soraya shouted and wanted to shoot herself, “That’s like so interesting! Okay, byes.” She walked to Koruam and said that it was decided. He seemed excited about the museum, but Soraya honestly hoped that she would get hit by a car before entering that museum. Koruam paid them in, of course. Soraya refused to pay for something she didn’t care about, and even said that to him. Now it was Koruam’s turn to tease her and he started to lecture about the roman history. After 15 minutes, Soraya was completely dead. “Okay, fine”, she said, “I’ll buy you and ice cream in Japan as long as you don’t share your intelligence with me.” They heard footsteps behind them and they turned around. It was Nate Watson, no doubt about it. He was just like Norhoz, the only difference was his dressing style and his glasses. He looked so emo with glasses. “Hey!” he said, “Nice to see you Aaron. What happened to your hair?” “It’s my natural color”, Koruam answered calmly. “Cool”, Nate smiled and turned to Soraya, “Aww, I didn’t think you’d be that small and cute. I though you’d be like 17 but you were 7. Nice to meet you little missy.” Soraya bit her lip. “I AM 17”, she said. “Argh, sorry”, Nate hit his head, “You japanese people always look so young. Well anyway, you wanted to meet me for what..?” With Koruam’s help and side comments, Soraya started to explain the same thing that she had explained to Koruam earlier. Nate was first very confused about this, but finally admitted that he was indeed a sleeper and do remembered Koruam and Soraya Hyuuga. Soraya took the scroll out of bag and opened it. Aaron Immortal Whites, Nate Knowledge Watson… Ryudo was missing, and that made Soraya blush. “I can’t believe I’m meeting you guys here!” he shouted, “I was in a coma for a more than a month, and then I died while fighting to help Urza. Remember?” “Yeah”, Soraya said and also remembered Ryudo’s comeback with his three new friends, “How could I forget…” After shearing their memories about the Cresteia dream, Soraya explained to Nate that they needed to find the others in order to get back to Cresteia and to Eesgo. “The others? How many are there?” Nate asked. “Immortal, Loyalty, Knowledge…” Soraya said, “That makes three, but we need seven.” Nate looked at the scroll. Soraya tried to remember Ferago’s words. He had mentioned Koruam and Kaito Higura. So Kaito was one of the sleepers. But what could describe him the most? “I bet Kaito is in it”, she said and Nate nodded. “I also have a hunch that Amy and Aishe could be one of them aswell”, Koruam said, “We need to find four, since I’m sure Ryudo is in it aswell.” Nate and Koruam both looked at Soraya since they were thinking about Ryudo. The word that could describe him? She started to think more and more about him. Ryudo had been hated, almost no one loved him. He had been pretty much loveless. Soraya’s eyes widened. “That’s it! One of them is Loveless!” And that’s when on the scroll a new name appeared. Ryoo Loveless Tsukamoto. “Good job”, Nate grinned. He was japanese. Soraya’s heart jumped. But if he was undead in her dream, was he dead in reality? From Tokyo, to find someone who was a Tsukamoto was impossible anyway. And there were thousands of Ryoos aswell. Soraya hoped that lady luck would be on her side when looking for Ryudo. “Oh, by the way”, Soraya looked at Nate, “From now on, you’ll be calling Aaron Koruam and we’ll be calling you Norhoz.” There was a small silence. Then Norhoz smiled and nodded. “Sure thing.”

13 - kept my promise and added a little more.
Chapter 3 ~ Hayate, the Intruder
Later in the hotel, Soraya tried to sleep, even though it was only 2 in the afternoon. But she was so tired because of her nightmares, and felt so strange, like her alter-ego would be waking up. That made her scared, but she couldn’t admit that to Koruam or to Norhoz. They’d just laugh at her, or so she thought. She couldn’t sleep, so she got up and started writing in her diary about everything that had happened. Saku still thought that she was at her friend’s place, so there was no need to worry about him. Still, she felt like something was a little off. Soraya closed her diary, but then decided to read it from the beginning. She opened it and looked at the pages. They were all empty. “What..?” There was not a single word, not even the text she had just written. On the last page, there was a red drop. It looked like a blood drop. The drop started to spread all over the pages, more and more drops appeared. Then it stopped. On every page, a single sentence appeared, written in blood; ‘I need to kill someone’. “No! That’s not true! I’m not like that anymore! It was just a dream!” Soraya yelled and throw her diary against the mirror of the room. A blood splat remained on the mirror, and as she walked closer to it, her mirror image started to change… It changed into a 17 years olf girl who looked just like her, but who was wearing a white, bloody kimono and carrying a bloody katana in her hands, covered of blood. “Who… Are you?” the real Soraya asked. “Don’t you know me? I’m your alter-ego!” her mirror image spoke, “Soraya Hyuuga, little priestess girl.” “What do you want from me?” Her alter-ego smirked and leaned against the surface of the mirror, leaving red marks on it. “The same thing I wanted in Cresteia”, she said, “To become the greatest of the world!” “You’re sick!” Soraya yelled, “Stay out of this.” Her alter-ego shook her head and smiled. “No, you’re sick, my friend”, she said, “For creating me, and for thinking that Ryudo is in love with you!” Soraya couldn’t believe her ego’s words. “What do you mean by that?” “He doesn’t like you”, her alter-ego whispered, “Ryudo never fall in love with you. Only with me. He never saw you.” Of course, she had not thought about that. Ryudo had always liked her alter-ego, not her real side. In reality, she was not like Soraya Hyuuga. She didn’t kill people and she wasn’t over self-confident. “That’s why”, her ego smiled, “You should let me control that body. He wants me, not you.” “Go away.” “I know you want him”, her alter-ego giggled, “But I already got him.” Soraya took her bag and gave a murderous look towards her alter-ego in the mirror. “You maybe have Ryudo’s heart”, she said, “But you do NOT have Ryoo’s heart!” She smashed the mirror into pieces by hitting it with her heavy bag several times. Someone knocked the door of her room and stepped inside. It was Koruam. “What was that noise?” he asked and noticed the shattered mirror, “What the..?” “You wouldn’t understand”, Soraya sighed, “Let’s go, we have to be in Tokyo today, so make sure Norhoz is ready and we’ll go through the door again.” “What about the hotel bill?” Soraya looked at her like Soraya Hyuuga would’ve looked; coldly. “You want to pay it? Then go ahead.”

13 september
Koruam looked a little surprised but decided that maybe the staff of the hotel would simply forget about them. Soraya knew they wouldn’t get into trouble, to be honest, she and Saku had done this a lot. She took her stuff and walked out of the room, looking somehow sad. Koruam shook his head a little and decided not to ask what was going. They walked to Norhoz, who was in the hallway aswell, carrying a bunch of history books. “You really need those?” Soraya asked. “In Tokyo everything is written in katakana”, Norhoz answered, “I need at least something that I can read.” “Right.” Soraya took her cellphone from her purse and decided to call to Saku that she was now on her way home. And that she had gotten a ride from another friend so she would be home in no time. She pressed the call button after finding her brother’s number and waited for him to pick up. But he didn’t. That’s strange, she thought and tried calling again. But Saku didn’t answer, and Soraya started to get a little worried. “What’s wrong?” Norhoz asked. “My twinbrother doesn’t pick up”, she said, “It’s not like him.” Koruam and Norhoz looked at each other. “Maybe the intruders found him”, Koruam said quietly. “What are they!” Soraya yelled, “I know you told me but I still don’t understand!” She tried to calm down. Her brother had to be safe, there was no way someone as smart as him would get into trouble. Koruam asked if Soraya had the piece of chalk. She nodded, took it from her pocket and drew a door in the hotel’s hallway. “Someone might notice”, Norhoz commented. “They won’t be able to use it however”, Soraya answered and opened the door, “Only sleepers can do that.” Norhoz and Koruam were both still quite impressed by this door, while Soraya thought it was now just a normal part of her life; drawing doors all over the place. They stepped inside, and appeared on a side alley in Tokyo. Finally home. Soraya sighed. It was the middle of the night, and her house was not far away, so they started walking towards it. Her heart was beating, the lights were out. Of course they were out since it was the middle of the night but Saku always kept light in the hallway. Soraya walked to her door, opened it with her key and stepped inside. The lights didn’t work well, they started flickering immediately after she pressed the switch. Koruam and Norhoz walked inside after her, also feeling that something wasn’t right there. “Saku-niisan!” Soraya shouted, “I’m home! Are you here?” No answer. She put her bag on the couch and walked upstairs. Saku’s room’s door was open, usually he locked it for the night, since he was a little paranoid. Soraya opened the door completely and looked inside the room. Nothing special, but the lights weren’t working well there either. She noticed a small note on the bed. ‘Hi sis! I went to see Regina and I’ll be back Monday. She’s such a sweet girl, I think I’m falling in love, thanks to your blessing of course! If you feel nervous about being all by yourself, put your hand under my bed and the dog will lick it. Your brother, Saku.’ Soraya blinked her eyes. “Dog?” she whispered, “What dog?” Her alter-ego was as curious as her normal side, and so, she put her hand under Saku’s bed. And felt something slimy. She pulled her hand back and looked at it. White slime. Yucky. Soraya looked under the bed. It was too dark to see anything, so she took Saku’s flashlight and pointed it under the bed. Nothing. She had been so scared. She sighed and was more than relieved to know that no one was there. Maybe it had just been one of Saku’s sick jokes. Or…

She got up and put the flashlight away. “People can lick too, you know.” Soraya’s heart jumped and she turned around, just to see a familiar face. A man that had ruined her life stood there. A man that she hated more than anything was grinning at her there. A man that had separated her from Ryudo was in her house. “Hayate”, Soraya whispered and looked at her hand, “Eww…” “Ever heard about the ghost story ‘dog under the bed’?” Hayate smirked, “I am one of the intruders.” “Where is Saku!” Soraya yelled, “Where is he?! And your worthless dogs?! Where are the other members of Akatsuki?!” Hayate shook his head, still grinning insanely. “Not all of them are intruders.” He walked towards her, but Soraya stepped aside. “You won’t get me in this world”, Soraya said, “Here you can’t use your own rules, only the rules of those who really come from this world.” “Oh please, Soraya…” Hayate snickered, “This is no longer your world! This will soon enough become the Dark Realm where I rule. Good job collecting two sleepers, the Hyuuga clan’s will is especially strong in you Soraya.” Soraya gave him a disgusted look and backed down a little. He wouldn’t dare attack her, he wouldn’t dare attack her… She was getting a little nervous. Normally, in Cresteia, she would’ve simply activated her Byakugan and kicked his butt. But this was reality, and there was no such thing as Byakugan in reality. That’s when she remembered Ferago’s words; ‘you mortals are so funny. You trust your eyes too much. You think imagination is madness, but it isn’t’ Soraya touched the belt of her black miniskirt, and felt something on it. A katana, imagination had once again been victorious. She took the katana and pointed it towards Hayate. “Get out already.” “Just when I was planning on giving you an important clue, you attack me”, Hayate grunted, “T’sch! C’mon, don’t you wanna hear something interesting?” Soraya blinked her eyes and looked at Hayate surprised. The man smirked. “It’s about Ryudo”, he said, “Or should I say, Tsukamoto-kun. Like you feared, he does have a girlfriend. And trust me, he won’t broke up with her even if he’d meet you. He even says that in his diary, that Soraya Hyuuga is nothing like his beloved little japanese cheerleader chick.” Soraya snorted and smiled at Hayate. She stepped closer and the katana touched Hayate’s throath. “Nice try”, she said, “I’m not interested in that crap anymore. He is Loveless after all. No one loves him.” Hayate looked very disappointed about his failure. He licked his lips, opened Saku’s room’s window and escaped. Soraya didn’t go after him, there was no need for that. They would surely meet again. And when they would, she would make sure Hayate would never come back again. Norhoz and Koruam walked in the room and looked at her. “What’s wrong?” “Something happened to my brother”, Soraya sighed, “I need to find him.” “What about Ryudo?” Soraya looked at her hand. The katana had disappeared. “Right now I have to look for my twinbrother. We can take care of Ryudo later.” “Time’s running out already”, Norhoz said, “We don’t know in what kind of bodies the other sleepers are in. Amy and Aishe could be old grannies while Kaito could be a newborn baby! We have to find them as soon as possible.” That’s true, Soraya thought. When sleepers died, their soul was transfered into a new body. Some of the sleepers died faster than others, which made their mission a lot more complicated. Soraya sighed and looked down. She would have to forget Saku for now and look for Ryudo. And of course, hope that he was at least a teenager. “Okay”, she said, “We’ll look for Ryudo then.”
The next day, Soraya woke up in her own room and yawned. Koruam was sleeping in Saku’s room and Norhoz was in Soraya’s morther’s old room, so there was no way they would complain about the night. This reminded her of her parents. Her mother, Sayu, was dead. She was killed by the yakuza, because she wasn’t able to pay money to them [writer’s note: yakuza is the japanese mafia]. Luckily, the group had been captured, but Soraya and Saku couldn’t forget the horrible Friday morning when they had found their mother hanged into a tree. Soraya didn’t know her father, she didn’t even want to, and hated this man, whoever it was. She had been born before Saku, which meant that she was an ‘accident child’. It didn’t bother her that much, she just hoped her father would stay away from her and Saku. And never dare to come in their life. Soraya got up and dressed herself. It was strange to walk downstairs without seeing Saku anywhere and she almost felt like crying. She hoped that he would be unharmed and that he would appear at her school to tell her that he was alright. But he didn’t. The schoolday was blurry for her, and she couldn’t concentrate at all. She was wondering if Koruam was turning her house upside down but doubted that. But the fact that she had no idea where to look for Ryudo, bothered her the most. After suffering the long and painful double lessons of roman history, the bell rang. School ended. Luckily. When she was walking towards Yamanote line, Kenta ran to her. “Hi!” he said happily. “Oh, hi”, Soraya smiled, “Look, I’m sorry I left you at the café last Friday.” Kenta shook his head. “Saku used to tell me, that if you ever ran after boys, then I should let you run after them.” Soraya rolled her eyes. “Well anyway!” Kenta took a paper out of his bag, “Mimura-kun is having a big party tonight for the transfer students from Osaka. And since Mimura-kun didn’t see you last Friday and thinks you’re hot, he asked me if I could deliver the invitation to you.”

14 september again
Kenta gave the paper to Soraya who grabbed it and looked at it. Mimura was a wealthy japanese boy with lots of little cheerleader girlfriends. Why should she go to his party and pretend to be one of his slaves? Though, it was flattering to know someone like Mimura thought her as a pretty girl. “I’m coming aswell”, Kenta said, “It will be fun. Though I heard there’s this guy coming from Osaka…” Soraya noticed that Kenta’s eyes were a little darker than usually. He was clearly afraid of something. Soraya stepped closer to him. “What guy, Kenta?” “I don’t know his name”, the boy whispered, “But his feared in Osaka. He has this really cool black bike and he always picks on other guys. But he treats girls like goddesses!” Soraya laughed a little. She was definitely coming, if a moron like that was there. Kenta didn’t look too excited however. “Don’t laugh at him”, he said, “He has scar on his chest which is a kanji and means ‘evil’. I heard that someone once laughed at his black messy hair, and guess what the guy did? He stole all his money and shoot him two times in his leg.” “Sounds like a hardcore rebel guy”, Soraya commented and they continued their conversation while walking towards Yamanote. “Well yeah”, Kenta sighed, “But he completely changes around girls. He goes all soft and stuff. All his girlfriends have dumped him after one week because they got sick of his red roses and love poems.” “Awww!” Soraya laughed. Kenta grinned and rolled his eyes. He was definitely a little nervous because of this guy, so Soraya decided to go to the party, just to save him from getting into trouble. They entered the Yamanote metro. “You know what?” Kenta said, “I’ve been sleeping badly aswell lately. I keep seeing the same nightmare. It started on Friday. Oh well, I guess it’s just normal.” “Really? What nightmare?” “Oh, it’s nothing special, I barely even remembered it now”, Kenta sighed. Soraya looked at Kenta carefully. He couldn’t be a sleeper, it sounded so weird. Kenta wasn’t that kind of a boy, he was definitely a guy who lived with a typical family, in a typical japanese house, had average grades in school and had an average friend. Okay, well, maybe Soraya wasn’t the most average friend in the whole world, but still quite normal, if she wouldn’t be a sleeper. “Oh crap”, Kenta grunted, “I forgot my keys. Hey, Soraya, can I come to your place?” “Aren’t you going to change your clothes or anything?” she asked from him. Kenta scratched his head. “I could borrow Saku’s clothes. I don’t think he would mind, were buddies after all.” Soraya nodded slowly and they got off from Yamanote. She had to explain who Koruam and Norhoz were, and also where Saku was. “Saku is with his new girlfriend today”, she said to Kenta and opened the door of her house, “He’ll be back in Tuesday. I’ve got a few visitors here; Aaron Whites and Nate Watson. They’re penpals and I know them through my cosplay penpal who lives in…” Soraya bit her lip. “Sapporo.” “Oh okay”, Kenta answered and waved at Koruam who walked to them. Norhoz waved to Kenta and was reading his history books, just like Soraya had prevented. “Wow, cool hair”, Kenta said to Koruam. “Thanks. Soraya dyed it.” Soraya blushed. Kenta had tendency to judge things before investigating them a little longer. Sooner or later she would hear the usual sentence about her being a girlfriend. No, she though and walked into the kitchen, saying that she would make some tea, I am not going to listen to that crap again. “So, are you Soraya’s boyfriend?” Kenta asked, “One of you at least? She has this problem that…” “Kenta! Zip it!” Soraya yelled while preparing some tea. Kenta snickered while Koruam looked curios. Luckily Kenta knew this subject was quiet sensitive for Soraya, so he kept his mouth shut. “Do I know you by the way?” Koruam asked, “You’re kinda familiar…” “Nah, don’t think so”, Kenta said, “I’ve never met a guy with blue hair… At least not in reality.” Soraya walked to them and gave each of them a cup of tea. Then she walked to Norhoz and served him aswell. In reality, she thought, what does he mean by that? She walked to Saku’s room with Kenta while keeping an eye on Koruam. If he’s alter-ego would suddenly wake up, no living man could stop him. “Hey, Soraya”, Koruam shouted, “This tea is good, what’s it made of?” “Grass.” “What..?” Soraya giggled quietly while searching clothes for Kenta. Norhoz started thinking out loud how much better the roman emperors would have felt if they would’ve drank some japanese green tea. Koruam agreed. “The only good thing italians invented was pizza”, Soraya yelled to them and was sure to hear some very cheeky comments. She turned around and saw Kenta undressing himself. “Wow!” she shouted, “Not in front of a lady, thank you.” Soraya ran out of the room, not even hearing Kenta’s apoligies. “Well Soraya, that’s already a very good reason why you should study history harder”, Norhoz commented from downstairs, “I bet you’d love to know when did they invent pizza.” “No, actually I wouldn’t care less”, Soraya shouted back and almost bumped into Koruam. She had never been so close to his master. Both of the blushed and backed down. [writer's note: you would blush too if you'd be that close of your own teacher!]

A gift for my greedy friends, posted: 16 september and still a long way to go. *sigh* Enjoy. xD
“What are you doing here?” she asked, “I need to change my clothes, I’m going to a party.” “Party? What about Ryudo?” Koruam asked. “I’ll look for him there”, Soraya smiled, “It’s a big thing so a lot of people are coming.” She walked to her room’s door and stopped. “Besides, I’m feeling kinda lucky today.” Soraya closed the door of her room and opened her drawer. There was nothing good to put on and it was too late to go to Harajuku to do some shopping. That’s when Kenta knocked on her door and stepped inside, wearing Saku’s clothes. He looked kinda emo. His clothes reminded Soraya of Saku, but she hid her worried face. “Great!” Soraya smiled, “You could borrow Nate’s glasses and you’d look so adorable.” “Really?” Kenta blushed, “I better ask him… Anyway, I bought you a gift. Why? Because your brother told me you were a little upset. So here.” He pulled a black plastic bag behind his back and put it on Soraya’s bed. Saku had noticed that she was upset? Soraya stared at the bag, waiting for Kenta to leave. “Hope you like them”, he said, “They weren’t cheap.” Kenta left the room, leaving Soraya with her gift. She looked inside the bag and understood that it was a dress, a pair of socks, shoes and a headdress. Norhoz almost dropped his history book when hearing Soraya’s scream of joy. Kenta grinned happily, making Koruam wonder what he had given to Soraya. After 20 minutes, Soraya walked downstairs wearing a black gothic lolita dress with doll shoes, black frill socks and a black headdress with a few ribbon. “What… the…” Koruam stared at her. “That’s gothic lolita”, Kenta explained, “Every local girl has at least one dress.” Norhoz looked at the dress and took away his glasses. “You know what I think?” he smiled, “I think that is exactly why you don’t care about roman history. Because you’re into rococo.” “Wow, you really are a genius”, Soraya pat Norhoz and took his glasses, giving them to Kenta. He really did look like a hardcore emo boy with glasses. But unfortunately Norhoz couldn’t see much without them, so Kenta had to give them back to him. At exactly 7 pm, both of them were completely ready to go. “Alright”, Soraya said, “We’re off. Don’t do anything bad, okay?” “Yes mother”, Koruam sighed from the living room. Soraya laughed and they stepped outside in the cold night of Tokyo.
Chapter 4 ~ Ryoo
Kenta and Soraya got off from Yamanote in Shibuya, where Mimura lived. Like everyone always said, Tokyo never slept, and even in evenings, it was the same as in the middle of the day. Especially young people came to Shibuya, to play arcade games, eat sushi for half price and to take pictures of j-rock cosplayers. It was always the same, but Soraya had to gasp and smile everytime she saw this scenery. Tokyo’s night was definitely the best. “Over here!” Kenta shouted through the music that came from a few arcade and gambling den. They walked towards a fancy looking house. Soraya had never thought that in Tokyo there even was such fancy houses, only small apartements. They took out their invitations and walked to the door. Kenta knocked on it and heard loud music from inside. But he also heard someone stop his bike near the house. Soraya turned to look towards the noise and saw a guy about her age with black messy hair, very pale skin and long leather jacket. He had one piercing in his lip, and two in his other ear. Kenta gulped. “It’s him!” he hissed. “So cute…” Soraya let out and Kenta looked at her horrified. Mimura opened the door and let them inside, along with this emo guy. Immediately after they had stepped inside, people started to stare at the guy behind them. Not in a mean way, their eyes were full of respect. “Nice to see you could make it Ryoo-san”, Mimura said. Soraya’s heart stopped. She stopped walking and felt Ryoo bumping into her. She turned around, facing him and just stared at his face. And that’s when she had a flashback about that time when they were in a prison in Eesgo.
She hugged Ryudo back and leaned against his chest. Obviously, she didn't hear his heart beating. But then. It suddenly beat once. Soraya trembled and looked up in Ryudo's eyes, just to see someone who looked like him, but wasn't even undead. Someone who had normal skin, someone that just simply didn't look like death. This view shocked Soraya so badly that she backed down a little. But when she looked back to her lover, he was normal again. Undead. What the heck was that... Soraya thought. "What is it my love?" Ryudo asked while he saw the spirit of Koruam's mother drifting away from him. "She saw you, as you were when you where alive... I showed it to her because I am one of the few who knows you from back then. Don't be afraid, she can't hear or see me..." Ryudo ignored the spirit.

16 september...
The flashback ended. This was what she had seen. This guy. This face. Those eyes. “Do I know you?” Ryoo asked slowly, “I feel like I’ve seen your face somewhere before, young lady. No, your highness.” Kenta was trembling behind Soraya and whispered in her ear that they should get away from him as soon as possible. But Soraya was in a completely other world. “I don’t know”, she answered to Ryoo, “Maybe… we have met… in another life.” She noticed Ryoo was wearing a necklace. It was a silver one, with a shattered glass heart hanging from it. “Unbelieveable”, she whispered. “Indeed, I’ve never seen someone as pretty as you”, Ryoo said straight to her. Kenta stepped between Soraya and Ryoo, looking very scared but still ready to fight. “Leave her alone.” “Out of the way moron”, Ryoo raised his voice, “I just found the love of my life. Don’t run away cutie!” Kenta looked at Soraya, who was still staring at Ryoo while smiling kindly. She seemed to be in a hypnose, and that made Kenta even more worried. Fortunately, Mimura pushed the two of the boys away from each other. “Oh come on you two”, he grinned, “We should have fun! It’s my party after all.” Ryoo didn’t even listen to him, he had gone down to one knee in front of Soraya, intensely looking at her in her eyes. “What’s your name princess?” “So… Soraya.” “The perfect name of a beautiful…” Mimura slapped Ryoo on his head and smiled. That’s when Soraya woke up from her hypnose and blushed when seeing Ryoo proposing her and holding her hands. She pulled them away from him and smiled a little. “My apologies”, Ryoo coughed, “And Mimura… No one hits my head.” “Oh.. sorry”, Mimura stuttered and decided to get away from Ryoo as soon as possible. The embarassed and scared boy walked away to flirt to girls. Kenta was confused, scared and mad. His inner self was waking up, Soraya noticed that. Ryoo ignored Tsuchiya for now, and seemed to be busy gazing into Soraya’s eyes, which made the girl a little nervous. “So Soraya it is”, he said, “I am Ryoo Tsukamoto, your future prince.” “Really?” “Of course not!” Kenta yelled, “He says that to every girl. Don’t listen to him. He’s just a cheap liar.” Soraya looked at Ryoo who shook his head. He tried not to turn around and choke Kenta, and he decided to save Soraya from that horror scene. When Mimura raised the volume of the music, everyone stopped staring at Ryoo and concentrated on talking with their friends. Kenta had noticed a few cute girls and had soon forgotten everything about Soraya and Ryoo and so, Soraya used this as an adventage and walked to Ryoo.

17 september and I'm still sick. This is getting ridiculous. Enjoy the cliffhangers!
“Hey”, she said, “I don’t think you’re a liar.” Ryoo looked at her a little surprised. “Thanks”, he smiled, “You’re right. I’m not a liar. At least, not right now. I really feel like I’ve met you somewhere before.” “In Cresteia perhaps?” The boy opened his mouth but couldn’t say anything. He laughed and grinned while scratching his head. Then he leaned towards Soraya and spoke with a low voice. “Are you… a sleeper?” “Nice to meet you too Ryudo”, Soraya said and kissed his nose, “Koruam, Norhoz and I have been looking for you.” Ryudo blinked his eyes a few times and couldn’t first believe that the girl who was standing I front of him was the same girl he had fell in love. She was just as cute as in the dream. “So they’re here aswell”, he said, “What do you say if we leave this party behind and have some private time?” [writer’s note: please don’t understand that in a perverted way, okay?] Soraya nodded to him and walked to Kenta. He was having a conversation with two western transfer students. “I’m going with Ryoo”, she said, “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine with him.” “…Okay. But promise me you’ll kick his butt if he tries anything”, Kenta sighed, “You’re my friend after all. By the way, these are western transfer students from Osaka.” Soraya looked at both of the girls. The other one had red curly hair and very cute green eyes. Judging from the way the girl spoke, she was definitely french. “I’m May Norton”, the girl said, “Nice to meet you Soraya. This is my friend Alyssa Hamilton. She’s from London.” Alyssa Hamilton. When Soraya looked at her, she felt like looking at an angel. The girl had long blond hair, blue eyes and the look on her face… It was hard to describe but this girl had an aura similar to an angel’s. She looked so kind. “Alyssa”, Soraya repeated, “Nice to meet you.” “Nice to meet you too”, the girl answered and smiled, “Unfortunately we won’t be able to talk much more, since tomorrow I’m going back to London. Though I’d love to stay here.” May agreed to her friend’s words and confessed that she too would fly back to Paris tomorrow. Kenta looked a little disappointed, which made Soraya smile. She had a feeling she would meet these two girls in the most strangest situation ever. But right now, it was not the point. “Cutie!” Ryudo yelled from the door, “Are you coming or not?” “Well, I’m off”, Soraya nodded to May and Alyssa and then gave a small hug to Kenta. Then she ran after Ryudo. They decided to walk around a bit so Soraya could tell him everything. So she did, and Ryudo seemed very happy to hear that Koruam and Norhoz were fine. Soraya told him about the other sleepers and how they had to find them before it would be too late. And that her twinbrother had disappeared. Ryudo said he was sorry about that and Soraya wanted to cry again. Where was he? Was he alright? Was he even alive? Hayate was behind all this, so she had to figure out where the snakeman was hiding. “Don’t worry”, Ryudo said to her, “When we’ll find Hayate, we’ll definitely find your brother aswell.” “Well that’s the problem, we don’t know where Hayate is!” Soraya shouted and leaned against a concrete wall, “And then we need to find Aishe, Amy and Kaito…” Ryudo looked up in the skies and sighed. Soraya looked at him and then at the sky. Black clouds. “Rain is on its way”, Ryudo said, “Let’s go.” “Wait, my friend Kenta…” Soraya started. “He’ll survive, come on now.” They walked to his bike and Soraya smiled a little. The last time she had rode a bike with a guy had been last year, and it had ended badly. However, this was Ryudo, and he would surely watch out. “Scared?” he asked. “Not really”, Soraya answered, “I trust in you.” Ryudo got on his bike and waited for Soraya to get on aswell. He started the engine and drove away. This was too deja-vu, Soraya remembered the evening with Kaoru in Shibuya. She just hoped nothing would happen. It started raining. At least I don’t have to take a shower, she thought while leaning against Ryudo so she wouldn’t fell off. “So, which way was it again?” the boy asked. “Towards Daikanyama”, Soraya said. “Okay… So you live with your brother in Daikanyama?” “Yeah.” She wanted to ask Ryudo a few questions about his alter-ego. First of all, why was he undead and what was his connection to Aaron Whites and Nate Watson? And since he was from Osaka, Soraya wanted to know about his family and stuff. Now that she thought about it, she had never talked about her family to Ryudo. And of course he had not talked about his to Soraya. It was sad, but she would stalk her boyfriend until he would reveal all his secrets. Judging from the way Ryudo talked, he was a typical japanese boy from Osaka. Students from Tokyo always thought that Osaka students talked slang and acted super cool all the time. Well, if you could say Ryudo was cool, he was at least tough looking. But cool? Soraya didn’t know how to define the word cool. “You live in Osaka with your family?” Soraya asked. Ryudo was quiet for a while. “No, I live alone”, he said, “My mother died of sickness. And dad commited suicide later on. I have no siblings so I was left alone. No one came to look for me, but it didn’t bother me. I got over it, though sometimes I feel like I’m too much alone.”
// I'm afraid that's all for today aswell since I don't feel so well right now. I haven't done spell check for a couple of parts.. x__x //
