A chance for him to gain the glory and honor of this victory. It felt so good to know it was so close....
Yuan Shao, a descendant of a noble line of warriors had taken He Yin's request to exterminate the Yellow Turbans in the Ji province. His numbers where far more superior, well trainend and he had two powerfull warriors on his side: Yan Liang and Wen Chou. He smirked. This battle would be easy, almost a dishonorment for his family line...
"Halt and set up camp here!" Yuan Shao ordered. "This is were I will direct their downfall!"

After an hour or two the camp was ready and already Yuan Shao had sentinels placed all around his encampment.
He was sitting in his own tent, the biggest, most expensive and gracefull looking tent of the entire camp. The flaps openend and Ren Zhi entered followed by a certain girl...
"A glad you could make it my ally" Yuan Shao said approved. Ren Zhi bowed before the man. "It is I who must thank you. I know I don't have much soldiers with me but I am happy that I can be off help" He took a few steps to the right, letting Yuan Shao see his female officer. "This is Pin Yu, she is going to take command of my forces."
"A woman?" Yuan Shao said surprised, even a bit shocked. "A very powerfull and intelligent officer" Ren Zhi replied...

Pin Yu followed Ren Zhi out of the tent to meet Yuan Shao. He seemed to be a little shocked about the fact that she was a female. "Yes", she smiled to Yuan Shao, "It is an honor to meet you, I hope I will be a great help to you."

After a while Yuan Shao finely replied. "There is not much you have to do. the pityfull rebels are already outnumberd and the morale of my army is high. This is going to be an tremendous victory for the Yuan family's honor! But see what you can do to help us out." He then waved both officers off.
"Yuan Shao is a great man, but he is always worried about his reputation" Ren Zhi said to his officer once they both had left the tent. "He doesn't want us to be credited for his glory so don't expect we get to do much...But we will help wherever we can, no about this upcoming battle...Why do you want to fight against your former allies? It's not that I don't trust you or anything, I was just wondering why."

"Well, as long as I can fight I am fine with this", Pin Yu said to Ren Zhi. She attached her bow on to her back and listened to his words. He asked why she wanted to fight against the Yellow Turbans so badly. Pin Yu looked at Ren Zhi, still wondering how long it would take until she would betray him aswell. "I have my reasons", she smiled, "Trust me, you will hear them one day." And that will be the day I say goodbye to your army, she thought.

Ren Zhi nudged with his shoulders. "Very well, just make sure you don't send us to our deaths. I leave you now in command of the army. I will jump in if something goes wrong...wich I expect will not happen any day soon."
He jumped on his horse. "I am going back to my tent, you go rally the troops. Boost there morale a bit and rest yourself. The attack will be commanced when it will get dark."

Pin Yu nodded and bowed to Ren Zhi. "You can count on me." For now. When Ren Zhi was gone, she decided to take a look at the troops she was possessing now. It looked like a strong group, her eyes never lied. The best thing was that they didn't mind the fact she was a woman. "Listen up", she said and was amazed how everyone immediately shut up, "You may think this will be an easy task, but do not underestimate our enemy. As a former soldier of the Yellow Turbans, I know they can be up to anything. So prepare yourselves." "The funniest thing is that our general was actually one of them", said one of the soldiers to Pin Yu, meaning her of course. She gave a quick, sarcastic smile and slowly walked to him. "Well, apologies, 'your majesty'", Pin Yu said, "But this certain world around us could end tonight and I will not let some Zhang Jiao surpass the Yuan Shao forces or our forces in that matter. This is definately not the time for joking, and I will not let you underestimated the rebels in any circumstances. Understood?" The soldier apologised and agreed with Pin Yu. "Great", she smiled to her troops, "As long as we understand each other, you don't have to be worried about this battle. Show me that you are all worth your place in this army." Accompanied by the cheers of her soldiers, Pin Yu walked back to the her tent to rest a little.

The sun was setting and the signs of the night came up. Already the entire army of Yuan Shao was mobilized and ready to go. Yuan Shao himself rode on his horse towards Ren Zhi and pin Yu. "Everything is going as plannend. There are two paths. a side road and a main road. The majority of my forces is going trough the main road. Wen Chou and Tian feng take the side road. I leave it to you wich you are going to take, just make sure you are not going to be in the way..." He returnend to his army.
"Well, It's officially time to fight these rebels. I leave it up to you wich road you will take...however they probably suspect we take the main road, wouldn't they?"

A main road and a side road. Pin Yu thought about this for a while. Ren Zhi suggested the rebels would suspect that they take the main road. Wrong. For some reason, Pin Yu was sure the rebels would expect them from the side road. Which would mean that Yuan Shao would make his way quite easily, and Pin Yu would have to use the side road to back up Wen Chou and Tian Feng. Silly rebels. "No", Pin Yu said to him, "They expect us to use the side road. I can tell, as a former rebel. Yuan Shao will most likely make it through easily, that's why... I will take the side road to back up Wen Chou and Tian Feng." And this had been her well respected intelligence in the rebel army aswell; not only she had sharp eyes but a sharp mind. Though.. This WAS after all her former comrades she was going to fight.

Ren Zhi nodded. "Then the side road it is then." The troops took the side road, following Wen Chou and Tian Feng's troops close behind as the main army took their way trough the main path. Everything was progressing smoothly, there where no signs of rebels yet until suddenly...
"Foolish heathens! You dared to stand in the way of peace and now you shall be engulfed by the winds righteoness and heavenly force!" A powerfull voice sounded over the entire field. It was the voice of Zhang Jiao.
Afterwards they could see in the far distance..on the main road Yuan Shao had taken a tornado arise blowing away everything in their path... "It appears we have taken to best road" Ren Zhi said to Pin Yu "I expect rebel forces coming down on us any second now" He was right. At the exact moment a rebel force charged at them with the yellow turban general Cheng Yuanzhi leading the attack.

"Perfect", Pin Yu said and quickly looked at the front men, "Don't stand there, attack!" Immediately her troops obeyd her and charged towards the enemy. Cheng Yuanzhi was a familiar face to Pin Yu, and she knew how to fight him. She took a few arrows and concentrated on the strongest enemy fighters.

"Quickly take defensive positions!" Wen Chou ordered his men and the quickly gathered to receive the enemy blow. Afterwards he and Tian Feng returnend the attack and the troops of Pin Yu entered the fight aswell, turning it into a small battlefield.
In the mids of conflict Ren Zhi while taking down any rebels in his way, noticed that the enemy general, Cheng Yuanzhi was heading his way towards Pin Yu. "Well if it isn't our beutifull deserter. I didn't knew I literlly had to congeur your heart!" He grinnend pointing his spear to her face and attacked...

Pin Yu smiled sweetly to Cheng Yuanzhi. "Well what can I say, I never enjoy staying in one place for too long my old friend", she shot three arrows towards him while quickly dodging any possible attacks. She took another pack of arrows. "Sorry, it's a futile effort", she grinned and shot them once again.

It wasn't a long fight. Pin Yu was much stronger and Cheng Yuanzhi's forces weren't so much. "We will meet again honey" He sneered at her and ran off in the distance, with an arrow in his shoulder.
Meanwhile Ren Zhi and Wen Chou slashed down the remainder of yellow turbans and soon the path was cleared again.
"Ha! They will never beat us!" Wen Chou yelled and charged head on, ignoring any change of an ambush.
"You did good there officer" Ren Zhi patted Pin Yu's shoulder. "So, shall we go safe his hide?" He pointed at Wen Chou in the distance.
