"Modern art eh... " Wesley mumbled as he took an empty piece of paper.
"Teacher I am done!" he showed the empty piece of paper to him.
"I call it, the emptines. How's that for modern art."

Her drawing was finished, and Sayoko started to think of something simple that would be modern art, when she saw another student hand in a blank paper, while he called it "emptiness".

"So typical" she thought.

Nevertheless, this was the first time she actually noticed a classmate. She didn't even know some others had already curiously looked at her, wondering what kind of person she could be. The thought of that happening didn't even cross her mind. She kind of thought of herself as being "lesser visible".

"Yes. Good thinking Wesley." The teacher said. "It is how some of the modern artists thought. Like this painting Kasimir Malevitsj made: A simple black square with a white background. This is, however not enough for this assignment. I want a bit more than that. And it's supposed to have a thought behind it."

The twins grinned when they heard Wesley's comment. He was right though, it looked like modern art: boring.
Aurore had almost finished the two characters on her work and was now drawing the gundam in the background. Dimitri decided to do something a little more according to the assignment than his sister and made a completely unrecognizable tree.

Katsuhiro walked to the teacher "I'm ready aswell" he showed his job wich was rather bloody. The white paper had red spots on it. "I call it, Kramer-o-losers death", he grinned and looked over his shoulder towards Wesley.

hmmm it was obvious to Sayoko that there was some rivalry in this class. "Oh, well, that's soo typical for males."

now as for something modern...

and she started drawing a traffic light with pink, blue and brown lights

Wesley began thinking.
A thought behind it... I am never good when it's forced up me...
Then he heard Katsuhiro's drawing.
Aha... that's what it will be.
And he began drawing vigorously.
When he was done he showed it to the teacher.
"I call it kept apart by the devil."
It showed a black line in the middle of paper and one person on each side of the paper. A demon like character was seen on top of the paper. Next to it in western letters was written. "Kastuhiro the demon."

[Karakuri]

Reichi iddly stared at his blank paper before he began to draw the outlines of of circle after circle, after circle. After quite a while, he had finished drawing several thousands of circles that he colored in yellow, blue, black and white. Truth be told, if you actually stared at the piece of paper, the circles would look as if they were actually spinning. With this, Reichi stood up and walked toward the teacher to present it to him, the cosplay coat still draped over his shoulders. "I entitle it... Madness."

"Why don't you go show that to the principal, Katsuhiro?" The teacher said. "I'm sure he would find it very interesting."

"Class, be good while I take Katsuhiro here to the principal's office." She grabbed Katsuhiro arm and dragged them out of the class.

Wesley noticed the teacher didnt payed attention to his picture and ripped it to pieces grinning at Katsuhiro.
Well now... let's think of something new.

Now there wasn't a teacher anymore to hand her drawing to, so she just walked up front and put her work, titled "traffic" on the teacher's desk.

"Somehow this class seems to be a little interesting. Weird people."

Katsuhiro made a paper ball out of his drawing and threw it on Wesley's head. "Loser! Bastard! Go die!" Katsuhiro's friend Kenji hid his snicker behind his hand and was drawing... A person. Instead of modern art which he hated. The boy with the glasses and the laptop from earlier looked over Kenji's shoulder. "A-ha! You're drawing Heather Gillespie", he grinned, "I suggest you give up, she's saved for Tamaki-kun here." Kenji rolled his eyes "This is for Katsu-kun."

The glass boy grabbed the drawing. "What ya think Tamaki?" Tamaki looked at the pic "Very pretty I think, Nanahara-kun (<3)." Kenji grabbed the drawing "Get lost nerds."

Reichi blinked several times as the teacher suddenly up and left just as he turned in his drawing. With a shrug of his shoulders he put the thing down on the desk and walked back to his seat, where he plopped down and leaned back again-- legs propped up onto his desk. "Look like it's just a boring streak untill the day's over now... Might finally get some work done on the costume, too." The red-head nodded as he spoke to himself.

Aurore and Dimitri both finished their drawings and left them on the teacher's desk, along with the works of the others.
"So, how long til class is over?" Dimitri asked his twin.
"No idea... My cellphone's dead, I don't have a watch and there isn't a clock in this classroom." She replied and turned to take another look at the new student.

Nanahara looked at the clock of his laptop. "15 minutes to go, Aurore-chan", he smiled at her and Kenji raised his eyebrow. Nanahara was surely having a crush on that french blondie. He took off his glasses and looked at Wesley "So guys.. Any ideas how we get Heather with Tamaki?" Kenji sighed "Stop that, let Katsuhiro take her." Nanahara rolled his eyes and got up and walked to Wesley.

"Hey ladd", he smiled friendly, "How's it going?"

Wesley who was still thinking on a theme for the drawing was interupted by Nanahara.
"I'm fine, thanks. How are you? Nanahara is it right?"
