Heather turned to look at Wesley. She smiled.
"Everyone of my exes happen to be that stereotype", she said sadly and walked to him, wrapping her arms around Wesley's neck, "If you consider yourself as different, then I'm more than glad to be your friend."
She gave him a small wink, let go of him and continued forward.
"Anyway, come on you two."

Wesley was obviously nervous. He never had a girlfriend before and now a girl offered herself to him? Where was the catch? No... he thought to himself, I can't let this happen again.... but she is so cute... and she's wrapping her arms around me... what do I do?
"Ehhh y...y..yeah l..let's g.gg.ggo"

Heather arrived at the shop where Shizuka was waiting for her.
"Finally", her boss sighed, "I'm off today aswell, cheerleading practise.. Which reminds me, Heather..."
She pulled her away from the others. "I got accepted! I'm going to New York's Broadway!"
Heather looked at Shizuka's happy face. She had always loved to dance and to cheerlead. She smiled to her and hugged her, knowing what this would mean; Heather would be left alone with Katsuhiro.
"I promise I'll pay your skating hobby, fully, if you take care of the shop for the next months", she said, "And Katsu-kun.."
"Shizuka", Heather stopped her, "Do me a favor and dump Katsuhiro."
Heather told Shizuka everything that had happened that day, and how Katsuhiro had revealed his feelings to her. But Shizuka didn't seem to be any surprised.
"Ahhahhah!" she laughed and walked around the shop fixing this and that, "You are late Heather-chan, I always knew Katsuhiro had a crush on you. I thought I'd help him."
"But Shizuka", Heather looked shocked, "I have absolutely no interest in that jerk!"
Her boss looked at her sadly. "Give him a chance", she said and noticed Wesley and Aurore, "Your friends?"
Heather nodded. Shizuka let out a deep sigh and leaned against the wall.
"So you're just gonna break Katsuhiro's heart?" she asked from her, "Good luck california girl."
Heather ignored her and pulled Wesley and Aurore inside.
"This is where I live, literally, in the weekends", she said, "You can put your bags in my room. I'll show you around."
Shizuka grabbed her pompoms, waved to them and hurried out of the shop. Heather opened the back door of the shop to an appartement, continued up the stairs on her left and walked to the last door of the hallway. She opened the sliding door and revealed her room, filled with plushies, mangas, dolls, lolita clothing etc. On her table, there was her very own Magic deck, and old one of Katsuhiro. She dropped her bag on her bed and walked back into the hallway.
"Wesley, you maybe wanna see Katsu-kun's room", she said and opened the sliding door opposite to her room.
Katsuhiro's room was just Magic. Cards were everywhere, well-ordered, which many wouldn't expect from the arrogant japanese boy. Heather walked in and returned a few cards, sliding them into the right pile.
"Well, anyways", she grinned, "History. Let's go downstairs, I have to take care of the shop at the same time."

"Sure, Wesley said."
and they walked downstairs to the shop.
"So will you girls really want to learn about Roman history or do you want to learn about the Aztecs we discussed in class today? I saw that the teacher is going to give us a test next lesson to see if we really did our homework, and yes it will be an official one. Sometimes it pays to be a teacher's pet." he said, both laughing and looking awkward since it sounded pretty naughty as he pronounced the last few words.

Heather bit her lip when remembering homework.
"Actually I was planning on not doing it", she said quietly, "But since you're here then why not. Aztecs then."
She sat down and nodded towards some chairs near her. A few friend of Katsuhiro walked into the shop at that moment and Heather gave them a small smile.
"Is Katsu-san here?" one of them asked.
"He's in detention", Heather said, "At school."
"Why?"
"Ask him", she answered and played with fake neko ears, glancing over Wesley.

"Good, how about you Arore?"
Wesley shrugged and said. "He was being an ass, but I guess you guys are familiar with his behavior."

"You have such a cute room!" Aurore commented on Heather's room and walked downstairs again, following her friends.
"Uhm... Yeah, I think it would be more convenient to learn about the Aztecs now. I'm not planning on skipping the test, but I kinda slept during class so I didn't really pick up anything." She grinned sheepishly.

Katsuhiro's friends gave a murderous glare towards Wesley and Heather stepped in front of them.
"Guys, guys", she smiled sweetly, "Just remember that Katsu-kun likes me. Okay?"
The group of boys glared still towards Wesley, but walked out of the shop. Heather sighed and turned to her friends.
"Okay, so Aztecs", she said like nothing would have happened, "Go ahead Wesley."
She sat down.

"And these are pictures of the first ruins of the Atecs civilisation that the expedition found" Kiria said to her good freind Yoku, showing him the pictures the expedition made in the book.
"Wow it looks really...old, dusty and boring" Yoku said yawning.
Kiria closed the book with a loud thud, putting it back in her pack.
"You really have to start learning Yoku! or else you start school with a very low grade!" She just didn't had it in her to look and act agnry but Yoku apologized immidiaitlly.
"I'm sorry Kiria" He replied. "It just that history doesn't really is one of my intrest, all I need to know about the aztecs is that they are gone." He looked at Kiria whom was still trying to put up an angry face and sighed.

"Fine, I'll go study tonight and make my homework, Thats a promise." He gave in, there was no way he could ever win from Kiria if it involved doing homework or study. ""Good" Kiria was happily smiling at her dear friend. "Then I want to read your homework tommorow, It better be good"
"Yes..teach" Yoku sighed again.

Wesley ignored the boys and he started talking.
"Alright Aztecs it is. I shall only tell you their decline, since that is all that the chapter covers. So, we already know that Hernan Cortez whiped out the Aztecs, but how did he do it, and why? He went on an expedition to Cuba. When he was there he resuplied his stockings and went to Mexico. He was supposed to create a bond between the Spanish and the people of Mexico. Cortez however had a different goal. He wanted to obtain many riches and he went with his 600 spaniards in land. On his way he met with several tribes who where allies of the Aztecs. He fought them and they joined his cause. The allies of the Aztecs wherent very happy with the Aztecs because they where cruel to them or so they said. In a short while Cortez had many allies who turned against the Aztecs and he marched towards Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capitol in the middle of lake Texcoco. Cortez was welcomed into the city by the emperor Montezuma II because he thought that Cortez was the God Quetzalcoatl. The spaniards took the gold there and build a church where the temple used to be. The Aztecs where angry and when Montezuma tried to calm the people down he was stoned to death by them. The spaniards had to flee out of the city, it was night and many got killed, Aztec and Spaniard alike. It is now known as 'La noche triste' the sad night.
After that many Aztecs got killed by European illness and the rest was either converted into christianity or killed. That was the end of the Aztecs..."
Wesley looked sad.
"A pity they burned all the books of the Aztecs... Pity they melted down the gold artifacts..."

Heather listened carefully and wondered why she had not listened in history class and if it was as fascinating as now, when Wesley spoke. She hoped it wasn't because Wesley was talking and she got the chance to stare at him and- Heather shook her head.
"History sounds so different from your mouth", she said, "Although I've always hated history, now I actually listened."
History. Why did she hate it so much? Because every single time she entered the class, she jumped back in time. Back into California, to remember the awful days she had had there. To remember what she was and how cruel people had been towards her. She woke up from her thoughts.

"Thank you. Your not the first to say that. Now if you have any questions, now is the time to ask. Since you better be prepared for the test."

[Yume]

"Che." Aurore complained. "Some allies they had. Although they say the Aztecs were cruel to them, then they shouldn't be allies in the first place, shouldn't they?" She wondered.

Heather nodded to Aurore: "Good point. As for the questions, I don't really have any."
She didn't want to say that she was going to pretend to be sick that day the exam would be.
"By the way, when will the exam be?" she asked-
