Thandor, the bustling border city of Denaugh, where tons of different creatures meet and say farewell. Where venturing in the many backalley's isn't a good idea if you want to live. Where the marketplaces show and sells Denaugh's finest goods, be it obtainend legaly or in a slightly less legal way. Where the soldiers are as nice to you as the weight of your purse is.
Thandor doesn't sounds like the heaven on Cameanthul, but if you look closely you might find it also has a much softer side. Travelers of all sort enter trough one of the gates
-----------------------------------------------
Basicly this is an typical rp. You play as any race you desire with a reason why you are in Thandor. If you are a traveler you best start at the three gates, sinc ethis is the entrance trough Thandor.

Personality:A bit blunt and almost rude in words, but he doesn't mean it bad. He tries to scam unwary travelers but isn't really good at it. History: Ladd lost his mother when he was born, so his father had to take care of him alone. He was a hunter but died a year ago by some Snow Wolves. Since then Ladd had to take care of himself, he did this by theft and scamming. He had made himself a nice marketstall where he sales his stolen wares. ] Name: Karutsu Age: 18 Species: Elf Description: Karutsu's FaceEquipment: Two small kunais Personality: A sweet and kind attitude towards others. She is also however, serious about everything she does and is considered as someone who is always ready to help people. Certainly not the like the Karutsu that will be around in a year. History: The only child of Rosariya's king and queen. Karutsu hated being alone and spoiled, and she enjoyed more traveling around Camaenthul than staying with her parents. When she travels, she usually takes a fake name: Kaori. If someone would, by any chance, recognize her, she would immediately knock the person out. She doesn't like the fact that she's a princess and considered as someone very high ranked and beautiful and wanted.

Like always the main road was busteling with people, most of them where travelers from Denaugh or humans from other lands but there where a few occasions where he saw the pointy ears of an elf sticking out of the crowd.
The main road was stalled with tons of marketstalls, full of clothes, food, jewelry and other stuff A traveler might want to have.
Ladd sighed and looked back at his own little market stall, A few trinkets and ornaments where stalled upon the wooden counter. It was all just junk, the valuable items where always gaurded well and basicly, He himself just didn't really had the skills of a thief. Ladd looked over at the huge gate. From the distance he could see the gaurds running around the big stone walls, inspecting the horizon for anything odd as the continues stream of different creatures came puring in and out of the gates.

Dressed in a long gray cloak, Karutsu stepped to Thandor, finally. She wasn't wearing a hood to protect her face, and everyone noticed immediately she was an elf. Karutsu's blue hair was especially gathering some attention from the people. No to mention her sweet face. But she wasn't there just to get attention, she was there to do some shopping. Elemia didn't always offer the best possible stuff she needed. Like weapons.

Ladd eyes whent trough the crowd, but rested upon something strange. Blue hair. Although the creature was too far off and it was too crowded to see her face, her blue hair stood out of the others.
"Hmm this might be intresting." He mumbled with a grin. Quickly he grabbed all his stuff from the market stall and put it in his pocket. From experience he knew that if you leave something unattended here for three seconds, it would be gone.
He quickly manouverd trough the crowd, getting closer and closer. He expected that it was somone fancy, a rich person like a nolbe...or perhaps even a queen but once he could see her face he was surprised.
It was an elven girl, around the same age as his and above of all...she was pretty, very pretty. he wildly shook his head, to stop himself from staring at her like somekind of zombie and headed towards her. "Heya, welcome to Thandor I am an..eer..a guide! Yes thats it, a guide! Can i help you find something?" Ladd said with a wide grin.

Karutsu felt like being watched and turned around in order to see a young man about her age staring at her like she was some sort of ghost. Oh no, she thought, please do not recognize me.. She didn't have to worry, when hearing the boy's words. "Heya, welcome to Thandor I am an..eer..a guide! Yes thats it, a guide! Can i help you find something?"
She looked surprised. "There are actually.. guides in this city?" she asked with an elven accent. Karutsu didn't have trouble with any language, ever. But her accent didn't go away. "I must remember that.. What a great idea indeed", she smiled and then understood the boy's question, "I need to find a longbow", Karutsu spoke, "In my land, they don't create such things so much. When they do, they are too heavy to be carried around for a long time. Can you help me find one?"

Ladd grinnend. The perfect way to earn some gold. "A longbow eh, sure I know a few places you can get one, and judging by your eh..style I think you have to gold to affort the good stuff, not the second rate bows they make at the markets over there. He pointed at one of the stalls, where indeed a few bows of different kinds where stalled.
"But" Ladd continued " In order to show you, I am going to need some coins myself. I still need to eat ya know and to tell you errr... honestly, I haven't eaten for almost a week now." Ladd put on his drama face as he continued his lie. "Alas, both father and mother are dead, leaving me, to look after my young six brothers and sisters, I work hard, day in day out, doing all kinds of jobs for the littlest of money, and even that is not enough to fill their hungry mouths, let alone my own. I pray to the gods that one day, a girl...probably an elf. with a big heart comes walking trough those gates and give me enough of gold to help me feed all those little mouths i have to take care for." He stopped, and hold out his hand.

( I'm in school so I'll make it short. : D )
Karutsu smiled sweetly "It's okay, you don't have to lie to me like that. It's not like I wouldn't know what kind of people there are in this city", she hesitated for a moment, "But why me? Is it because I'm an elf? Do I look stupid?" She didn't sound mad, more like worried and a little disappointed. From her pocket, she took out a small leather bag, opened it and took out three shiny gold coins. "Is this enough?" Karutsu asked, "And please, don't lie to me anymore.. My name is Kaori. What's yours?"

Ladd smiled embarressed. "it's that obvious huh. as he then saw the three shiny coins his eyes lit up. The currency here involved bronze, silver and gold. You could get a lump of bread for 5 copper pieces. So this was definitly worth much. As quickly as possbile he snatched it from her hands, making sure that no other eye had seen the sparkerling delight that was gold. He put it in his pocket. "Sorry bout that." He said to her. "The name is Ladd, I really made everything up, except for the part i don't have any parents. I am no guide either, although I do know almost every nook and cranny around here. Anyways, the reason I came to you, is because you stand out." He pointed at her blue hair. "Come I'll take you to a good shop where they sell longbows of great quality" He started walking next to her while explaining the elf more about how bussniss was in Thandor "Standing out is never a good idea. You are lucky it was me who saw you first but others mean more harm then simply scamming you. They lure you into one of the sideally's and either knock you unconscious, murder you..or do something worse, strip you off all your valueable goodsand repeat the process with another outsider. They arrived at a speciffic stall, fillwed with all kinds of bows and longbows. "This guy is a pretty good archer, so he knows how to make a bow, but don't show any signs of you having money though. if they notice you are wealty they might suddenly up their prizes, if you know what I mean." He whispered in her pointy ear.

"Really? My hair?" she smiled, "Oh, don't worry. I would've taken my guards with me if I couldn't take care of myself. But yes I can, I know because battlefields are my second home nowadays. Sad but true." She walked with Ladd. It was difficult for her not to show she didn't have any money. Mostly because of her clothes, and that's why she had that black cloak around her. They arrived to a stall, and Ladd whispered her some good advices. But she knew. "Excuse me", she said loud so the merchant would notice her, "I heard you are a good archer, sir. May I see one of your finest longbows then?"

"Eeer what! the battlefield is your second home? Are you a I'lorim or something?" Ladd asked unsure. Meanwhile the merchant inspected the woman standing before him toroughly. he came to the conclusion that she wasn't of nobility, but she had an elfen accent, and where there are elfs, there is gold.
"Alright here ya go" he said after he had scannend trough the various types of bows, Finelly he placed a longbow on the counter. it looked in great shape, and was nicely decorated. "But it is going to cost alot. I don't think you have the ammount of gold I need." He smirked as he awaited what she was going to say.

"Of course not", she answered to Ladd while the merchant was searching some boxes, "I come from Elemia. Let's just say that things aren't going very well there... Two biggest cities are fighting against each other. Everyone will have to do something in order to finish the misery caused by the war."
She looked at the bow in front of her and then at the merchant. He had that coy smirk on his lips. "I don't think that either", she lied, "But I'm curious." Karutsu took the bow in order to feel it. Very well made indeed. Easy to carry around.. She certainly wanted this, but had to keep her cool. "How much would you ask?"

"Hmm" The merchant grinnend approvingly. "This is my masterpiece, a true work of art so I would say...ten gold coins" He looked at the elf.
Ladd however silently had hid himself behind Karutsu without the merchant noticing and whispered something to her, hard enough for her ears to hear, since she was an elf.
"High above the usual prize, just put it down and walk away. You see him change his prizes." Ladd said annd contineud the conversation they had while he was at it. "Yeesh two cities at war with eachother. That doesn't happen much here in Denaugh, and our gods is Infenyte. Must be though on you."

Karutsu heard Ladd's whisper and looked at the bow. She put it down "No thank you. I noticed some slight mistakes in the bow. What a disappointement.. It's barely worth one gold coin." She gave a sweet smile to the merchant and walked away calmly.
"Yeah, especially for a princess it can be hard", Karutsu said innocently, "Elernia, our god, has tried to stop her.. But the two fighting families won't listen to her." She looked over her shoulder and then back to Ladd "That's why I travel so much.. I'm sick of that place. It's so isolated and full of violence. I wish I could stop all that.."
