Anyhow! To go back on-topic; I vote for a Disgaea Rp Board.
In other words, a board entitled "Makai [The Netherworld]"
I tell you, Disgaea is addicting <_< Both the anime AND the game.

Alrighty then. My idea is an rp in futuristic settings something similiar to the game.
We Rp as a small recon group whom where send to investigate the sudden loss of all radio contact in one of the Colony's many outposts wich was recently established. Located on the small rocky wasteland planet they named S.L.U.3.
Small (Reffering to the size of planet), Low (Reffering to the usable resources of the planet), Unhabitted (Referring to wether there is any alien activity or not on the planet) and 3 (the number of the planet, incase there are multiple planets with the same discription.)
We start in the spaceship transporting close to the outpost base for a few introduction post and then we head inside the base wich we find is completly empty...or not.
thats the setting I was thinking about, for the next question: Do you know/like the Zerg from the game?

Okay, (sorry for the double post b.t.w) Now that you know abou the setting I show you what the rp is about... With a movie I found on youtube from one of the starcraft cinematics www.youtube.com/watch?v=vg8WuiU7TvIWell, i really hope I can put in the tension of an (almost) deserted building where you feel you and your team are all alone. So do you think this idea is something? If so be sure to say and I'll start making the rp. The goal for this rp to start is 4 persons.

((Sorry for the thriple post)) Alright, I believe this forum was created to be a ROLEPLAYING forum right? So how comes that I haven't seen a post in days. Well, perhaps some new idea's will bring the ol' rp spirit back: First Idea: The typical RP. You know, the old heroes vs evil villian thing in fantasy settings ala RPG, with different classes such as (Black mage, White mage, Fighter etc.) However this time WE (as in all of us willingly to do this) Create that world. We will be the the gods of the world, creating each a different part (or region) in the world where the people have faith in the god. Example: The people up north of the world worship the god: Koruam. meaning Koruam may decide about how the peple live there and who rules etc. etc. The people up south believe in the god: Infenyte (heh me a god, Didn't even ruled the world yet ) So this mean Infenyte may decide how the region looks like in the south. I will go into more detail later if this idea seems intresting by you guys. Please note that if you have an rp idea of your own, don't be to afraid to share the idea with us. This is a roleplay forum afterall (Even if there are no active rp's)

Hmmm... that could be fun... Though what do we write? Stories about our people and their heroes or so?
And we could also make a side section with mythology... For example, how was the world created? How where the Gods (that's us ^_~) born? How did the eternal battle between Koruam and Infenyte begin? (just to say something wild)
hmmm... this could be interesting...

I already created such a part in the art section >_> it's about scandinavian Gods... go read it... no one replied yet so I never wrote down another myth cause no one was interested. Anyway as a matter of fact Elernia and I are creating a new RPG, which should be online soon. Gotta add and edit some things though. Well the reason I didnt continue is this: School RPG, I still need Yen's answers to the test >_> can't continue without them... Eesgo and other world rpg... yeah forgot it, I read it and then clicked it away again... so yeah just forgot it.

BakaGaijin (Gods, I really have to hold myself not shortening your name with just baka) Well, it will going to be an rp, each of us playing a character or more. However in order to do so WE (as in the gods) have to make up the world first. So each of us gets a part of the world what he/she dicides over. Example: He/she can create a special race or class, how the economy, religion and landscape of that part is that he/she controls. And ofcourse makes the city's, villages, monsters, heroes, villians, ect. but only in his/her appointed region. You can however make a deal with the others (If you really like a race an other god created so that they also walk around in your part of the world. or creating a special city, or altar in their part of their world (with approval) Once every god has made up their current rp setting, we can start an rp in that world, probably typical heroe's vs villain thingy, but we'll see where it goes. There is only ONE big rule i like to point out now. If let's say, Bakagaijin decides to be a god, you CANNOT give yourself a name. Your people will simply call you by your member's name (You can however let out a part of your member's name if you like, and give yourself a god's title like: Bakagaijin, the god of Cranberry Pie) @koruamcan't wait for the rp to get online. and I DID tead your myth section, I thought it was better not to reply with the typical: Great thing, keep it up" post. I find it always distrubing when scrolling trough story's.

Infy, it's called a writer's block, completely normal on RPG forums. Happens to the best of us. : P So do not worry, I will answer when I get enough energy.
