Yeah I know, it is mostly the guys fault it is so dead here, tommorow I am going to make sure to recheck each threat to see if I can post anywhere.
Anyways, I finished the second part of the epilogue and I am posting it right now. It is now finished and I really hope you guys like the idea.
you know, a small band of rebels trying to overthrow the dictaterous reign of the evil king.
I really look forward into making this old- school rp.
“It is said that after a child witnesses a horrible moment, it’s mind will lock these memories and images away so that the child can be able to live on without having to dwell in the past. This unfortunately, didn’t happen to me. The horrible images are still as clear to me as the day it happened.”
“ISHWALD!!!” Asthasi yelled at her husband, but he didn’t move a muscle.
“Stop wasting your voice. The king is dead!” Siegrun laughed and walked over to her, his double blade clutched in his right hand, blood from the king still covering the metal.
“But you and your son will soon see him again, I will make sure of that!” He grabbed the queen’s hand forcefully and pulled her closer to him into an hostage-hug, the sharp edge of his blade pressed against her neck. “D..do with me as you will..but please I beg you. Leave my son be!” Asthasi begged the General, but he just laughed in response. “I was send here by the great king Darin to put an end to Elronde’s royal family line for good, surely you must know that this also means I have to kill that little brat! But I am a good man. I will just kill him first then, to save him from seeing his sweet little mother being murdered by me.”
“You wouldn’t dare!” She responded in fear, but felt how he let go of her hand and grabbed Vivance by the collar of his clothes dragging him closer towards himself. The poor kid couldn’t do a thing, he was petrified of fear. “Now, just be a good boy and stay still, this will just hurt a little” Siegrun grinned as he aimed the other half of his double blade, downwards to the young Vivance.
He had let down his guard on the queen. “NO!!” She yelled as she grabbed the sharp edge of the blade with both hands, she felt her blood streaming out of cut that the sharp edge of the sword made in her soft flesh, but her motherly instincts had driven this pain all out of her system, the only thought she had was to save her son, save Vivance. She tucked her head sideways and with all her strength slammed the tip of the blade just past her head, piercing right trough the unprepared Siegrun’s eye. He cried in pain as he pushed the woman back against the wall with a loud smack, using his free hand to cover up the gushing wound, as if it had some healing force that could save him from the pain.
“Vivance..RUN!!” Asthasi shouted before she lunged at the general whom now started to think about the task he had to do. With a shout full of anger and hatred he threw Asthasi on the ground, and slammed his blade right in her throat. It didn’t take long for Asthasi’s eyes to lose the once cheerful and happy flicker of life, that her husband so much cherished about her. The queen had died..trying to protecting her only child from harm.
“I still remember how after the deed that man turned his head to me, his face looked so full of anger, so full of hate. I still remember how I whispered the word “demon” before I started to run…”
The young boy started to run as fats as he could, hearing the loud footsteps of the general close behind him, he found an opened door and ran right trough it, slamming it closed quickly before he ran away again, his mind vaguely recognized it was the kitchen, where the servants wants brought him, his mother and his father the most delicious of food. He heard the heel of the general break right trough the hole and the cursing of that man, trying to wring his leg free. He opened the next door leading to the huge dining hall, and quickly hid behind the open door. Not soon after the General came rushing in, looking around for where the boy went. He kicked away the long elegant table and slashed his blade right trough the small closet which was standing in the room before he turned around, noticing the boy standing right next to the door. With an evil grin he rushed at Vivance whom immediately started to make a run for it back into the kitchen, trough the other entrance, where the wooden door now laid shattered in pieces of wood all over the floor and back to where his mother and father was killed.
There he saw a man in armor kneeled down, holding the corpse of his mother into his hands, giving her a kiss on the still warm forehead. It was General Kardi.
“I remembered how I tried to shout my lungs out but there came no sound out it. It was as if I forgot how to speak, as if I was transformed into an infant. The feeling of fear I had back then I can never forget and are still a source to the biggest of my nightmares. The fear of being so close to safety, but not been able to call out for it. An experience I pray never to feel ever again.”
Luckily for the young Prince, Kardi looked up and saw Vivance. “Young Vivance!” He shouted and ran towards the boy. Holding him safely into his hands. “We have to get out of here, little one. The enemy is everywhere.” He said and lifted him up and just started to run when Siegrun blocked his path.
“You are not going anywhere!” Siegrun yelled at Kardi and dashed forward. Because of Vivance clutched into his arms Kardi couldn’t take his weapon with him, but it didn’t matter. He too charged forward and as a starplayer of rugby he tackled Siegrun back into the wall with such a loud slam, that it left a huge crack in the wall. Siegrun slowly glided towards the ground unconscious, his back leaning against the wall.
“I remember how I tried to yell at Kardi that that man killed my mother and my father, that he should go back and finish him off. But again no sound came from my voice. Thanks to Kardi I escaped, but the battle and the war was lost. Elronde had been defeated and Ashran was now fully in control over the once so glorious and happy country. King Darin managed to rebuild this all. Restore order into the streets of the cities whom weren’t ruïnend, he killed all the big lords and lady’s, as well as the generals and the tacticians of the late king, my father as a precaution they would not seek to reclaim the land….
Exactly 8 years have passed since the event which I lost my father, my mother..and my land. No longer am I of noble blood, Kardi made sure of that. He told everyone how he and his own son survived the onslaught at the castle by escaping. At first I could not believe him. How could he speak like that! There was still hope! I was there, the rightful heir of the lost throne! But I understand now. If it was known the son of king Ishwald still lived, Darin would end every last one of his men to find and kill me, and then all hope would truly be lost…
I have learned to wield a sword, although I lack the skill to actually be useful in combat, however me and my “dad” have found work at a small rebel camp under the lead of a famous Elronde bandit. Torell, the one man’s army. He named his men: The Red Moon Rebels, and me and dad are respected members of it, well at least Kardi is. But he and Torell believes that one day Elronde will be restored to it’s former glory and king Darin would be kicked out for good. And that is enough for me to believe in this small band. The red moon rebels will do anything…for Elronde. I Vivance Elronde, son of the late king Ishwald Elronde pledge this with my life!”
P.s I will repost the epilogue later on in the rp thread (if you guys like the idea) as a whole.
Please make sure to tell if you liked it. It took alot of time and effort to make this
(honestly! never writed that many words in my life!!!)
