The Creatures
First of all, there are no humans in Elemia at all. Humans are always welcome, of course, but such people are rarely seen here. Magical creatures such as lizards are used to transport heavy cargo and to get from one place to another as quickly as possible. For mail, elves use the elemian Blue Bird. It is a crime to kill one, it's the pride of this land, and also the most expensive pet you will find here.
Elves
The elemian elves are quite special and different from normal elves. They are able to use strong magic, by singing. Their singing voice is similar to the Blue Bird's, a very beautiful one, with words only a God could understand. In wars, priests use their singing skills in order to heal soldiers and attack enemies with magic. Of course, elves use weapons aswell, but certainly not heavy ones. The lighter, the better, it helps them in being very agile.
Lizards
The lizards, like said earlier, are almost as big as horses and trained to obey elves. They would never hurt them or turn against them. On the battlefield, the lizards are fast moving mounts. Some of them are able to walk on walls and on ceilings, but those kind of creatures are usually handed down in noble families as gifts.
Blue Birds
The blessed birds of Elemia. They are light blue coloured, with four long feather tails. Their singing voice doesn't sound like it would be a bird's voice, it's far too beautiful to be. They are used to deliver letters and such, and they are also popular pets among nobles. It's forbidden to sacrifice a bird like that to a God.
