Ofcourse in a roleplaying game there have to be rules to proceed everything smoothly. and here I will add them, aswell as an quick explanation how the game works. I'll probably will update this section alot using edit, so you better check it regulary.
Now then, time to start then with the rules:
1. Do not post until the entire group has posted, or until the time limit exceeds. 2. No godmodding, hunter CAN hurt you and they CAN kill you, not the other way around. 3. Do not investigate more then once.
More probably come up.

Important Information!
First of all...more will be editted later
Turns The game itself is turn based, meaning that the actions (wich will be described below) take up turns and you can't do everything all at once. 1 turn is 1 post b.t.w
Entering and exiting rooms: Well what every castle has..is rooms, and since this is supposed to be a huge castle, it supposed to have lots and lots of rooms. To be honest, I do not know how many rooms the castle has, as I haven't thought about the rooms much, but I'll do my best in describing the rooms for you guys. Entering a room isn't counting as a turn, but exiting the room is, however you are still allowed to investigate the room once before you (try to) leave. Once you exit the room, you en
Investigating stuff: Almost each room has handy usable and unusable items. Most of these items are hidden, like keys to open doors. You can find these items by investigating the room. I myself will post the places where such an item may lie in the form of options you can choose from. However watch out, there can also be traps hiding in these places. You can only investigate once, see what your investigation resulted in and act on the now new situation.
Making choices As I said before you have the option of making a choice. Most common choices are: Enter trough door (a,b,c ect) These doors lead to still undiscovered rooms, if it says you can enter, your turn ends, unless the door is locked, then your turnend isn't waisted and can you do something else. Investigate stuff You can only investigate one thing per turn, meaning you either exit the room, or wait for a new turn to come and investigate the rest. Grab visable object Same as above Hide Hide inside/under/below/above an object, this will end your turn, cannot (obviously) exit the room Talk to NPC This will end your turn, cannot exit the room exit room Return back to the room you came from. the same rules as entering trough door (a,b,c etc) applies here.
As you can see you can only investigate/grab one thing per post, but you are almost always given the option to enter a different room. after doing this your turn end and you have to wait until your turn comes.
Turn system
The turn system is very simple. As I will be acting as the npc/hunters and the room designer (lol) you cannot continue after I have done my share of post, but what about the others?
Each player has and can only make 1 post before I make mine. It doesn´t matter in what order: A,B,C,D or B, C, A, D or D, A, B, C etc. and then we start all over again. If one player is inactive for a while (Still have to think up a limit for that) his/her turn will be ignored, and ill make my post and thus starting a new turn. Stay inactive for waaaay too long and your char WILL be found and killed by a hunter and then it is game over! (for your char atleast). Well thats the gist of it, hope thats clear and understandable.
Panic: You have read it a few times, what do I mean with panic? Panic is the condition your char can get after encountering/dealing with a few sacry situations (Like finding a corpse)
Panic comes in three stages: Light, medium and heavy. A light panic attack is nothing serious, and your char will act the same as always, only a bit more scared (makes sure to rp that your char is scared) the light panic takes one whole turn before it fades away again. However should in that turn, your char see's something scary again he will go into a medium panic attack.
A medium panic attack is a bit more serious, your char is so scared that he/she simply refuses to investigate stuff, he/she still can grab items or can hide however. This will las either 1 or 2 turns, depending on the situation before the char returns back to lightly panicked.
Lastly we have a heavy panick attack, and this one's a b*tch. when encountering something truly gruesome or after a hunter manages to take a good hold on your char, he/she will go into a heavy panick attack. During this attack your turn will end on the spot and I, yes I will take control of your character. I will let the character flee the room, ignoring items and allies alike as all rational thinking has gone form his/her head until the panck attack stops and you take control of your char again, seperated from the group, and alone. Your char will return back to a state of light panic. Watch out, hunters are known to go after loners.
The Hunters: Finally towards the part I will tell about the hunters. Right now I purposly haven't revealed the hunters identity. as this will happen in the orignal game later on. All I can say is that hunters are human and want to kill your characters. The purpose of the game is to escape from the hunters. I will play as the hunters, and using a internet dice system determine if the hunter get's your char or not. As the game progresses you will steadily see more hunters coming and it will become far more difficult to hide from them. Lastly each hunter has different pro's and con's wich you can use to your advantage, when one if afraid of bugs you can use those little critters to stop that specific hunter dead in it's tracks.
Fleeing and hiding from hunters:
Hunters are immortal, or better your characters can't kill them (Unless certain conditions are met wich I will not explain). Therefore there is only one option for your char to take. escape. There are a couple of things your char can do: Flee and hide. First of all when a hunter is in the same room as you, you better get out as opposing the hunter head on, is no good idea. One problem though, you char can only escape trough rooms you already discoverd. Yes you read me right! This means that you can reenter several rooms in ONE turn! However there are ofcourse limits. As the hunter is following you dead in his tracks there is no time to investigate and you can only ran trough three rooms. after that you HAVE to hide. As said each room may or may not have some hiding places. Hide for the hunters there, however be warnend though that there is a small chance (33%) they will find you, and when they do they might hurt you n_n. P.s Did you know that some hunters will give a warning before they enter the room, handy for hiding quickly.
